alot of the high powered cars i.e. skylines , evos , scoobies , gtos ect also remove the recirc valves and blank off any vacumn hoses . There is various debates on this but the bottom line was due to the boost pressure a zed runs it wont make any difference on the life of the turbo. But its completely up to you wether want to do it or not. but in effect with no recirc or DV u are making the turbo slow down a bit between gear changes ( compressor stall ) . and the noise is caused by the air going through the turbos blades and getting chopped up.

Trust me guys and andy , those wont work on the mcguard ones , and ive tried it twice now !!

matey on the evo site makes these mate , ive got a few same as attached im sure if u get him design u want and logo he can make up anyones u want. :

andy the locking nut removal tools will not work on the msguard nuts, Trust me i have tried it a few times , these mcguard ones are seriusly tuff not like the older crappy ones and it takes ages to even make a mark on them !! take the car to a garage and get them drilled off , It will take a while but is the easiest solution . I junt bunged the guys £20 and they were happy to do it for me . Took em an hour though ha ha ha

spot on mike and timmy !! Many other forum allow the dispute between 2 parties whether trader and a member or 2 members to carry on till they are resolved when only moderating if there is any actual bad launguage, threats or such name calling which obviously woundnt help the matter in any way..apart from that let everyone hear both sides of the story !! As stated already , if a trader or member does something good then its posted up and everyone is happy , when a member or trader does tomething untoward then why such a cover up ?? what happened to freedom of speech ??

as long a the evo has been looked after then no they dont cost alot to run , and certainly alot cheaper than a zed by far !! costs £35 to fill up the tank from empty and lasts 200 miles. The DC5 is not bad around 200 bhp so quick. but also that model is from 2001 onwards so dam expensive. £9-10k upwards . U can get an evo 4 for about 4-5k these days. Handling as well , An evo will demolish most cars at handling being 4wd over the civic type r's etc. Alot of driver seem to go from typr r's to evo on a regualr basis. The evo 3 pushes 270bhp and 228 ft lb torque The evo 4 pushes 280bhp and 260 ft lb torque The evo 5 pushes 280bhp and 274 ft lb torque The evo 6 pushes 280bhp and 274 ft lb torque The evo 7 pushes 280bhp and 282 ft lb torque And its torque that really counts ay , Get an evo thats been looked after , Regular services ( oil changes , oil diff changes) same as any higher powered car and you will be laughing. Also the evos are built to withstand abuse unlike scoobies which pop on a regular basis.
