Yeah looked at hide, but to get a decent volume for what i want to do and minimal cost is difficult. 55sq ft for about £80.00!! I reckon i need more than that, cos I might leather everthing. i want to keep my options open I think. Once i finished i can have a good burn up on the bonfire.

Ok, Some positives and negatives. It seems to depend on thickness of material. Definitley won't touch the seats apart from risking the quality of the leather already, the job in itself is going to be awkward to say the least. But door cards etc, I will give it some thought I think.

Also if there was enough leather left, what about the dash, and also the top section of the door being that it's the usual plastic at the mo??

I wasn't thinking of re-trimming the seats, I was going to leave them as is, as I have already had them re-furbed, although if there was enough leather left i could do the seat and back panel only. but probably not!!

I could buy a couple of leather settees, that are in good condition (Burgundy in colour off of fleebay. So if I got these settees, i could cut all the big bits of leather and re-trim the doors, arm rest glove box etc. Has anyone done this, would it work. I can't see a problem with it. Tell me I'm wrong if I'm being a kn*b!! Would Burgundy be too close too black as a contrast, bearing in mind my Zed is Midnight Purple. Your thoughts would be appreciated. :cowboy:

Yeah true. but the heavyness was same whether slow or fast, upto 25 round a roundabout, so don't think it's related to speed in this case
