  1. Hi I think i would rather be in a dead end job, than be an accountant. I've worked with a few Accountants, including the latest guy, nice enough chap, but he has as much charisma as a slug with a serious case of ME. If you are into number crunching, but want variety, and a job once your in full swing that will keep you on your toes, get trained as a quantity surveyor. There are three types. PQS, works for the client (They are like accountants) Contractors QS, working for construction company, that's where you get your training Subbie QS. Get trained with a Contractor, (to near senior level (£40K a year), then go freelance and work for small sub-contractors (£50-60K a year). I trained with a Contractor from the age of 17 to 24, then went freelance, so doesnt take that long really. IMHO Steve
  2. Been looking around local to me (Somerset) to find a garage that I can take the Zed who should know what they are looking at!! For general problem solving servicing and so on. Found these guys in Yeovil "Performance 3000", any body heard of them, and if so good bad indifferent.
  3. CHECK THIS OUT - THE FATHER NEEDS TO BE :hang:
  4. Makes you want to put your finger on top and push it along!!
  5. The Missus is in the process of setting up an animal/bird rehabilitation sanctuary. Just built big f*ck off Aviary against the stables Couple of pics of birds recently saved/reared. The white pigeon was given to us already partially hand reared, so we are trying to encourage her to be wild, but she keeps flying to the missus, which is very awkward when you have a staff who chases birds. Baby rabbits as well about 8 days old, Had six and lost them all. Very difficult to save wild rabbits!! Sorry it's in PDF
  6. Mega Drive every time!! Although I havn't seen many new games recently??? :wheelchair:
  7. Cornwall and devon for a chilled out experiience, coast line and countryside. Betws y Coed North Wales, is pretty cool. Don't bother using trains over here, you'll be bankrupt by the time you go home. Much cheaper to hire a car, and then gives you the freedom, to go where you want.
  8. Sounds (pun) good to me. I think regardless of Si's "sh*t" comment, got to be worth a try.
  9. Hayfever. Pollen count has definitley gone up over the weekend. :flowers:
  10. Just out of ignorance. What is entailed in re-mapping!! Lay-mans terms please. Also how long does it take, and how much would it cost. looking to get my N/A doen some time
  11. Thanks Si, New I could count on you!!
  12. What does one reckon on the link. Looks a bit pricy, but gives you the option (Loud/not loud). Cheaper than changing the Silencer (Not in my case -- silent that is!!) Would it affect performance that much too worry about http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120571005638&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  13. No Havn't tried a Centre Panel, probably just keep an eye out for one, then consider choice against cost. Ref the LED's Got standard bulbs at the moment, and they are OKish, but 5w LED's will definitely be brighter. I got LED's in front for Fogs and side lights and they make a massive difference
  14. Fitted mine yesterday. Havn't decided on centre panel yet. Gonna fit LED's later, just to boost the brightness
  15. I would contact the Roazza's first, just in case it recorded as stolen. Imagine you applying 4 the V5 and Bodie and Doyle come round your house to nick ya. Do you think they would believe your story that you were looking after it for someone (You don't even know).
  16. It's probably a Tranny
  17. Mabye worth if not done before, once the paint stripped back get scratched good and proper for a good key, then prime it. Also change spec on paint, as could be suseptable to heat again!!
  18. Very very very very nice!!!! However is that an excess paint drip on bottom right hand corner of consol by the clock!! :detective:
  19. I think fair play to you. I'll say again it's not my cup of tea, and I did make that point earlier in the thread, and was followed up by an onslaught of similar opinions. I must admit after such a response I thought you had not responded just out of "embarresment" for want of a better word. However, like you said, it stands out, I get your point on the similarities on engine bay finishes, and it was a bold move that maybe you should be proud of making that decision. If you lifted the bonnet at a show. Yours would be the one that is remebered!! All men are eaqual, but some more than others!! :donatello: That's coming from someone who wants to put a settee in their Zed mind you!!
  20. You could go surfing on that!!
  21. Drinks all round then!!
  22. I think there's a bad case of snow!! :detective:
