  1. Staffs are the best. I know you'll miss him loads. Got a bitch and wouldn't want her anywhere but here. My condolences
  2. I'm not sure, but I will have a word with them and get back!! Give me a couple of days
  3. I swapped them with dougal200 for some cloths, which i was going to get recovered in new leather, then changed my mind and decided to get leather and recondition. So Dougal got a good deal for his SWB. but I'm v happy with the seats.
  4. Got them from guy in bristol who broke his zx, cos they were in not good condition got them fairly cheap, the reconditioning cost £200.00 - Ding Master in Filton bristol
  5. Murt will definitely keep an eye out
  6. Attached some pics of before and after of front seats now in the ZX Still to put in rears
  7. i like the bonnet i got, and don't have the original
  8. T-Cut etc won't be enough. Whoever had it before me didnt apply base coat properly to the bumper, and its peeling quite bad, the bonnet has a blister the size of a fist with for want of a better word little "nipples all over, plus in various places the bodywork has got a few brush strokes where they've covered a few scratches, as well as the front bumper being pitted, and needing some filling doing. doesnt give you that "finished article" feeling when you look at it closely. If you know what i mean!!
  9. I was looking to get mine resprayed. Same colour as it is now, (Midnight purple) just needs freshening up with a few dings pulled and the front bumper needs filling on the lip
  10. Ok, If that is the case presumably a series 1 seat wouldnt accomodate wiring for a warning light!! Any suggestions anybody??
  11. Sorry Funkysi, didn'tt mean to offend.
  12. Do you sit on this site all the time? LOL
  13. Just out of interest, what would a complete respray cost. What have you paid, and was it anything special.
  14. I got japspeed muffler, and was looking to change to something quieter. We did discuss the mongoose/blue flame as an alternative before. But I am tempted with the X-Force Varex. Is this a wise move. I just think that with the valve shut your gonna lose some power. Does anyone think their system is any good?
  15. I have now put in some reconditioned series 1 seats in my series 5 The plug connected straight in and the electrics on the new seats work fine. (I had manual before) Now the seat belt warning light stays on all the time. I was wondering whether the series 1 ZX had a seat belt warning light on the instrument cluster. And if it didn't this is why my llight now remains on all the time. Or do i need to do some jiggery pokery with the wiring under the seat to sort.
  16. Thanks that link was very helpfull
  17. OK didnt realise there was a 3 or 4 is that it!! Whats the differences as seems to be a quite a lot of flexibilty in crossovers of parts
  18. What year did the Series 1 stop and Series 2 start As I'm not sure. i'm looking at buying some Leather seats from a 1990 Zx and i got a 1997, will they fit??
  19. Thanks Dre nice sound def!!
  20. If I remember I used a scourer orange square, and rough to the touch, can get them from wilkinsons. That helped to break the glue up!!
  21. Try the white spirit again but keep working at it. Sometimes with the glue residue it needs a bit of time to be affected by the spirit (to let it soak in a bit)
  22. I stripped film from my Mitsi, and then used white spirit and a rough cloth, came of pretty easy
  23. At least he might get a rebate back on his insurance if he paid the full year up in advance. LOL!!
