  4. My wheels are away ATM, at a company in Milton Keynes called Pristine Wheels. Searched all over for a company that could diamond cut mine to get the exact match and had to end up sending them down there. Due back on Wednesday.

  14. The bottom line is: Subscribed members pay £15 every year for the privilidge of being able to buy and sell on this forum. No one is saying a former member should re-subscribe, that decision is his. He can pay through Ebay or pay through the Autotrader if he wishes. If he is a member of a car club, he can choose to advertise it on their website. Unfortunately, he isn't a subscribed member of this club. How can it be any clearer than that?? As for any other registered user who decides to advertise on this forum, the moderators will, if seen, act in the same way. Also, if any club member sees an unauthorised for sale thread, they should notify a forum moderator or Committee member with the details. We have to be consistent here, so we need your help. Sorry if this seems unsympathetic towards former members but rules are rules. I am now going to close this thread because TBH, it's not up for discussion/debate. The rule is in place to protect the club and give maximum benefit to our paying members.
  15. I'm sorry Rob, but rules are rules mate. I cannot speak for the others you mention. Our forum moderators must have missed those. I know it sounds harsh mate but the fact is, selling goods on this forum is a perk for our subscribed members. That is what many pay their annual subscription for. At the end of the day, it's £15 to resubscribe. If you were to sell your car via 300ZX.co.uk, then in my opinion, it will be £15 well spent. However, please don't think this post is forcing you to re-subscribe. That is purely down to you. Remember! If you tried to sell your car through Ebay or Autotrader, it would cost you. Nothing is free. Cheers Steve-300ZX Membership Secretary
  16. Like I said Si. My post was not meant as a personal dig at you mate. I know you would have loved to come. Just having a general whinge about the poor turnout and how it had a negative effect on the awards. Never mind!
  17. Yeah! If the writer had trouble with their spelling
  18. Yes Sarah, definately something we can improve. I know when Chunk was NEO, he made some tax disc holders (JAE '05) with members forum names, so they could be stuck inside the front screen of cars. That seemed to work very well. He just got a list of all members who were attending and wrote their names with black marker pen on the disc. These are the little things that help us be a little more professional. But something any member could offer to do in the future.
  19. I agree 100% Andy. Just makes a bit of a mockery of the whole competition, when we have 26 trophies to award between about 30 cars.
  20. You need to bear in mind that we have over 600 subscribed members in this club and about 30-40 bothered to attend the weekends event, knowing that the event included the 300ZX.co.uk annual awards. It's the same people winning the awards every year now and TBH it's a little pointless. I spent almost £600 this year (of members money) on trophies. At one point on the Saturday afternoon, we had more trophies than we had cars to nominate. It did improve a little on the Sunday. If more members attended I'm sure Smithy. Jason Farrow and myself would not have won the trophies we did. We will have to review this spend next year, as I feel it wasn't money well spent. I know other Committee members think the same. I keep banging on about this but at the end of the day, it's true. The club is only as good as it's members. Still the bottom line is; do Smithy, Jason and myself feel guilty because of the trophies we were awarded. I would say definately not. We didn't vote for our cars. The members who attended voted. EDIT: Not having a go at you here Si, more of a go at everyone really. Just disappointed with the way the awards went. With over 600 members, one member should not walk away with several trophies but, like I said, who's fault is that? The trophy winner or the masses that didn't come along with their cars to make a more worthwhile competition?
  21. Sorry about the delay. I have 8 PM's from new members wanting Membership Packs. I've been away all weekend and still haven't got round to sorting them out. Will get them boxed off this week and get the details away to the printers. Once again, sorry for the delay Steve
  22. Ya don't say!!
