ive got a manula z and im after a new surround for it as its got a slight crack from where some twat of an alarm installer (allegedly) has mullered it trying to take it out theres one in the for sale section but its from an auto will this fit the manual i know the vinyl surround is different its just wether the plastic part is going to fit :confused:

had this problem before on my old car it ran 205/40/17 tyres kept losing pressure gave them to me mate who works at a volvo dealership. he removed the tyres cleaned the the rim and used a bead sealer when he refitted them didnt lose pressure at all after that

(different car still superchip though) the previous owner of my cav turbo had several bad blow ups and a complete meltdown with a super chip apparently it didnt chuck enough fuel in at the top and threw too much in on mid range good recipe for bore wash and leaning out and oh ive melted a piston(s) that was the previous owners experiance just to shed a bit more light on the subject.

whilst were on the subject of removing hicas my zeds got a stillen bar fitted with a custom made steering rack by-pass pipe but this is my question... do you bleed the power steering system out differently ??? as the rear steer rack has a pair of bleeders on it just wonderin as im gonna change the fluid but dont want to get caught out. ive got the pukka nissan workshop manual (i know it doesnt cover removing HICAS) but it goes on about these bleeders any ideas as im not too sure about doin it now ????

she was good regular oil changes and plug changes etc was running about 1.4 -1.5 bar boost loved it quite a good spec hybrid, 5th injector front mount cooler remapped chip in car boost controller but 165hp a ltr is pusing the reliability envelope a bit hence going for 3 ltrs not so much strain on motor and still stock internals no cams or any thing there no doing 420hp+ kits but thats with forged pistons and about 1.8 bar boost yikes great fun in the wet four wheel power slides round roundabouts good laugh but had quite alot of power unsersteer in the dry ahh miss it now. supprised so many people in it aas they just though it was as done up gsi haha wrong

2 way: bass/ mid range cone it has one speaker sitting on top of the other that does the top end 3way 3 speratrate speakers bass/mid tweter 4way 4 seperate speakers bass/mid/tweet/super tweet all of the seperate speakers sit in the same chassis as the bass cone hope this helps

as im also finding out the cav is a a hell of alot rarer then the zed im gonna get another one soon still keep the zed but luv me cavs too

ever driven a 330hp 4*4 cav whupps sti 8 imprezza had over 160 on the down hill stretch of m23 no slouch. alot of people under estimate it its not your run of the mill taxi. just a shame the 4*4 is so fragile

just serviced my zed usual stuff and cleaned up a few more connectors ptu tps cas iav and changed the pcv valves wow what a difference she flies now. spools up quicker starts better much more responsive on the throttle dont like how much the plugs cost though my wallet screamed ouch very loudly but it was well worth it. silkolene oil aint cheap either but its done now could have serviced my cav tubbie 3 times over including a cam belt for what i spent on the zed :p
