  1. ive now owned my tt for about 3 weeks now great fun hang it hang it hang it very predictable and a laugh the best bit is joe publics face when you come out of a junction or roundabout almost on the lock stops ahh so much more fun than understeery 4wd :rofl:

  4. 92 uk car lowered black 17" oz saturn plus, hks zorst some dodgy twin filter setup using crappy ol crossland filter need better setup
  5. emerald is good dave walker and co know where there at done some mapping where i last worked with him. the owner of the motor insisted he came and had a play
  6. if im right it intercepts the ecu signals eg timing/injector pulse lenght etc and sticks in its own set and bumps that out to the motor dont sound clever ive always been brought up on proper mapping. if i can afford it im eventually gonna go alpha gold on mine its expensive but it can do everthing but wipe your arse includes fully sequential injection lamda control etc etc and i think it can do antilag and launch control aswell ive seen a 600hp+ v12 jag motor running it admittedly its an N/A engine but the sight of 6 Pairs of 38mm throttle bodies and twin ecus is quite impressive
  7. hmmm its a piggy back chip innit ??? not as good as a properly written/mapped chip as far as i know its how can i put i suppose its like clocking a pc not as safe as buying a proper faster chip is it ??!

  10. cheers chris its annoying its not bad but i was building race/rally motors for a few years and its not nice when your own motor dont purr.. ynow weve had full on 310hp+ n/A warrior motors on alpha injection run like a sewing machine at 950 rpm and sing to 9250 its pissing me off big time maybe im just picky.....no im not its bloody annoying
  11. i cant seem to fix this slight miss at idle/rought idle problem will a diagnostic check be able to tell maybe an active test and a test drive if so im in eastbourne anybody relatively local who will plug it in and test it ????? it now seem to more intermitant than a permanent problem .. tried injector leads coil pack leads and checked vacuum hoses but cant seem to find it all i want is it to tick over smoothly i dunno im out of ideas main dealer said to chuck some injector cleaner in it but in my mind unless you take them out and have them properly cleaned what good will it do??? theres to much of this bung this can in you car and it wiil miraculously fix it crap on the the market i know alot of it is rubbish especially these power boosters ive proven it time and time again on the dyno all bullshit... still thats another matter.. mutter mutter rant rave :D
  12. ive seen alot of turbo timers and boost controllers for sale i had a blitz dual turbo timer in me cav turbo and just an in car boost controller (turn a knob job ) but there a loads whats the best ?? they dramatically vary in price so what do you lot think i want something nice but as usual dont want to pay an arm and a leg ...
  13. i got glass fribre one when i bought my zed from me uncle. i wondered why the tailgate is so bloody heavy the oem one is like a bloody sponge then must get the glas one painted and fitted then before gate starts to fall apart..
  14. mine did thta for the first time today adjusted alternator no probs now it got worse as the alternator loaded up ie turning more leccy items on bloody annoying i agree but fixable. watch those knuckles ive got 2 now leaking claret !!!
  15. ahh my uncle forgot to give the workshop manual to me when he bought the car (just brought it round its almost 3 inches thick) gonna give this a go its got f`in everthing in it im going throught the diagnostic procedure for unstable idle at the mo hopefully should get as its fairly indepth

  19. ok i had that on my cavalier turbo but on the cav i could see it but where is it on the zed???? its ever so slightly more complicated just a bit :rolleyes:

  21. yeah done this doesnt show anything up as you can see im begining to run out of ideas
  22. thought i had fixed it WRONG!! car is suffering from a slight miss when idling. ive cleaned up injector connectors (very corroded) thought that might have done it. but its still doing it ive gone over the small vac pipes blocking them off to check for air leaks but found none. had a fiddle with as many leccy plugs that i can find but still no joy HELP im getting pissed off now. car doesnt miss when above 2000-2500 rpm either only really at idle. pulled off the coil lpack leads to see if it was them ..nope but i have noticed its missing from both banks of motor (listened to exhausts) so its something that is generally affecting it not just one bank.. also ive found a valve down by the master cylinder that is dissconnected (by the bulkhead there are 2 its the lower one. traced the piping and it runs into the n/s wheel well behind shit shield if this is relevant ???). the pipe coming from it just sits in fresh air nothing connected to it where as the pipe coming from the valve is just blocked off it also smells a bit rich as well as the usual cat smell ??? dunno if this is to do with it.. Ive havnt diagnosed the ecu as yet thats for tomorrow could it maybe be lambda sensors?? i dunno im pretty well out of ideas now im getting 2 new air filters as the old ones are pretty dirty but i dont hink this is to do with it. the engine runs fine and pulls well no hesitation or anything from the norm.. cant belive there are any compression probs either HEEEEELLLLP !!! :cry: :cry:
