Well, Zed went to a knew owner today who will continue the restoration journey I started. He knows of this place and will hopefully make himself known.

Japspeed exhaust. Quality HID kit. Ignition, doors, boot, and glove box locks all replaced with a brand new OEM kit from Japan (manual version). Comes with 2 keys. MeisterR CRD coilovers. Suspension overhaul completed 400 miles ago: All rear bushes replaced with Nismo ones. Moog lower ball joints FUCAs fitted with Whiteline adjustable bushings. Whiteline drop links. Power Enterprise ARB bushes and clamps. All arms removed, cleaned / stripped, painted with Marine spec epoxy paints. Rota GTR 18" alloys in bronze. All 4 tyres good and legal. May 2022: Rear Sills cut out, rot removed, new steel in, epoxy coated. Rear pockets remade. Rear arches cut out and replaced. March 2024: Both chassis rails full length replaced with new steel. Treated and coated. All brake and fuel hardlines replaced in their entirety. Photos off all the above work (before/during/after) are available. Targa blinds, bags, and straps present. As is OEM tool kit and owners book. Original shagpile carpets come with the car (though aftermarket ones are currently fitted). Large folder of JDM and UK history will be provided to the new owner. As well as a USB will all the photographs of work during my ownership. Paintwork is presentable but would benefit from attention in a few places (primarily around the door handles). Been quite a while since the last update. And the Zed hadn't moved from the garage since I put it in there in 2022. Had the Zed trailered up to a local garage to get an inspection and costs done for some work. In particular on the floor and chassis rails. The rails themselves were pretty rotten in places. Garage has done a great job, and I'm very happy with their welders work. Pics of before and after below. Getting hardlines replaced shortly before getting a fresh MOT.

Did you get it back on the road? If it's a runner with a MOT it'll sell best on ebay or Facebook groups. If it's still off the road, and has any sill rot then you may be best going straight to one of the regular breakers (Paul Clements and Iftikhar Ali) who'll buy it from you to break for parts.

I've the data from the old .org site that listed the series info somewhere on an old hard drive. I'll try and dig it out later on. Jaikai has the info as well so might well update before I do.

Tapa talk is a hateful piece of software. The idea behind it 10 years ago was great, but it failed to progress and each update made things worse. It is rather frustrating that every so often when logging in here I have to confirm yet again I want to continue on Chrome (android 13) and not use TapaTalk

So a lot has happened since the last post. Nothing has really happened with the car like. Didn't extend the house...... Moved instead. And after a rather stressful few days the Zed is now in her new home. For reference I do not recommend driving a 300zx in -5° and freezing fog.

I can remember you doing this. There was much jealousy. I cannot begin to describe how much I hate these clips. Absolute **** of a job to get some of them on/off on the fuel lines.

Have you stripped the front down again and checked all your timing marks? I know you've said you're sure it's correct but I'd be taking the covers off and checking again.
