  1. no SVA unless its under 10 years old. You need an MOT first, then to get it registered. You will get tax when you register it, and to register you will need to go to your local DVLA office, it is not something which can be done at the post office. You will need the MOT and japanese De-registration papers for this.
  2. done this kind of thing before haven't you :p
  3. most NA's had a spoiler, was an option though.
  4. short version, no, paint will be damaged and you will end up with 6 holes in the tailgate.
  5. porter cable all the way, ive seen a few cars done with these and the results never fail to impress.
  6. finalgear.com ;)
  7. Yes, I know somebody who has one, was an NA but he has since put a saleen blower on it, making over 500hp. He is Andy Gibson, works for overclockers.co.uk.
  8. broke my trolley jack lol, wasn't funny at the time mind when the car was plummeting to the floor.
  9. this happened to a mate of mine, brand new 360 and the HD was filled with music.
  10. no, its not XP underneath at all, the underlying technology has been majorly reworked. It doesn't slow things down at all, if anything its more responsive than XP.
  11. any DX9 graphics card with 128MB VRAM will be able to run aero just fine. I'd recommend 2GB RAM at least too, mine has 1GB and it struggles a bit with that. Few problems with it but nothing serious. No support for speedtouch USB ADSL modems, no great loss these are shit anyway, not Microsofts fault either, blame thompson for not releasing drivers. Seemingly some issues with DHCP with belkin routers. And an issue with laptop screens whereby windows decides when you close the lid that the display has been disconnected and when you open the lid it doesn't come back on.
  12. what exactly happened to the rides icon? Things don't just dissapear.
  13. deffo AFM problem there.
  14. will need to have the 6 holes filled, perspex panel and a respray.
  15. couldn't give a figure, but everyone says its ridiculously heavy, so i'd guess at least double that weight.
  16. lisencing is just the same as XP, retail can be installed on as many different PC's as yo want but only 1 at a time, OEM is tied to 1 motherboard.
  17. up to the importer, to the best of my knowledge the DVLA don't keep anything.
  18. Stenorth, I can make it, would you give me an email on please. I'd rather not put my phone number on here you see.
  19. sounds great bud, i'll let you know if i can make it. Thanks for the offer :)
  20. anyone near wolverhampton who can give me a lift to this? i'd like to come along, not been to a midlands meet in ages.
  21. not to mention that XP or any other OS doesn't supprot DX10 AT ALL, being that it is exclusive to Vista.
  22. that might just be down to the fact that DX10 is brand new technology. Just maybe..
