usually to make way for an oil catch tank in the battery's location, or some might say its for weight distribution but lets be honest on a car carrying as much lard as a 300 it won't make any difference.

it doesn't spin all the time, only when the a/c is on. The engine also sucks in FAR more air than the a/c system can cool down.

leaned AFR and very advanced timing is a recipe for detonation, I wouldn't be happy with it unless it had been proven ok on an RR

first part of the 3rd series was utter rubbish IMO, seems to have picked up now though, quite exciting again now.
