hate to spoil your fun, but a 150w supply isnt going to be anywhere near powerful enough to run a p4 system, maybe 2 of them, thats still pushing it a little though..

could this kind of thing lead to it making an awful grinding noise every now and again when starting up?

John? vijay, yeah might be that, autobox diag doesnt show it as a problem but I guess that doesnt mean anything so long as the output isnt outside acceptable range. A conZult diag would be pretty useful, any kind people in the midlands have a conzult and willing to run a check on it for me?

Got a problem with the autobox, its holding the gears for too long, for example it will stay in first and second at the same rpm for like 5 seconds at a time (seems like an eternity) before shifting up. Now chunk reckons his did this and it was the autobox ecu playing up. However, the car has a speedo chip fitted which also effects the steering. Could it be related to the speedo chip messing up the signal? Also is there a way of wiring up the speedo chip so that it doesnt mess with other things apart from the speedo? From what i can gather from the steering at least, the speedo cluster electrics has an effect on it. If I just unplugged the cluster would everything work as if the chip wasnt fitted, or would it mess up because it isnt connected at all? Thanks Simon

no snow up here today, well a few tiny flakes but nothing exciting. The snow sucks though, last year we got tonnes of the stuff, this year we get half an inch then it melts an hour later :(

hey ben, not too bad, was home last weekend, was busy saturday and ended up in london on sunday though so no time to party :p. Will be back for easter for 3 weeks though on tha 18th, so plenty of time to get wasted :D
