would a conzult show up a faulty speed sensor? how much is a new sensor anyway?

i got an NEC 3500A for mine, i think you can get them for about £40 now, I bought it because it was popular at the time (the new 3520 model is out now, similar price i think) and I was suitably impressed with it.

The zed is fitted with a kmh->mph converter chip on the speedo. It is causing the steering to go lighter and the autobox is all over the place. Yesterday I disconnected the whole cluster and we tried it out, now the autobox was shifting much better but still a little late, but after a minute or 2 the steering went dead heavy, but went normal again after turning off and back on, maybe thats because the cluster is disconnected. Im not sure. I found this last night (i think it was vijay who posted it, cant find it again though, doh!) and it is wired up differently to ours. On ours the red and black wire are the same but the orange and green are yellow and grey on ours. The red circle is the same as on ours, however the green circle isnt, the black wire is connected under the screw, it looks like one of those traces there is broken. Any reasoning behind this? And finally, what converters are all you other import auto owners using, and have you ever has issues with the autobox caused by them? Thanks Clarkey

99% sure that picture on the field is a photoshop, wheels look much larger, much lower and it has skirts

red slider is the emergency release, lets you take it out of park without the brake pedal, useful if you have a dead battery or something and need to move it. To the best of my knowledge theres no switch witha stick on thats related ot the gearbox? Is is a uk or import? IF its an import you will have a switch with 'A/T' on it, with power and hold modes, put simply power is good for going faster, and hold is good for going slower :p

ps2 controllers do have analogue brake and accelerator, it just sucks balls, a wheel and pedals (pref with gearstick too) is the only way to go :p

you wont get any kind of decent boost with no load on the engine, if its pulling a little boost then i'd say its fine, if one of the turbo's aint working the best you will get it 0 on the gauge, take it for a spin and you will probably get full boost.
