sounds normal to me, you say it stops? Completely stops? If it does then its knackered, and if its really loud like a truck or something then the coupling is knackered. Its normal to run at full speed for a few seconds when starting from cold but it should slow down and you shouldnt be able to hear it.

yeah been using it for ages, i love the tabbed browsing, and the great extensions available like adblock, flashgot, tabbrowser preferences, but theres no way its faster than IE, its much slower even with tweaks applied, i wouldnt change though. And the hacking attempts have allready hit, the popup blocker has been worked around for a while now, get loads of popups now :(

ah yeah now i see the door is different to the rear, why do people accept these awful colour matches from paint shops, i'd take it back and get them to re-do it!

nah, flames sounds normal if you have a spark out and no cats in, unburnt fuel into the red hot exhaust. Black smoke would be another effect.

if we're going to be technical about this, then ChrisC's has the highest recorded bhp on the forum, and its silver, so maybe silver really is the fastest, but I don't think it will be able to fend off the power of the red zeds for long :p

For giving the zed a clean bill of health on the conZult today, well apart from the electric fan, will look at that tomorrow probably. Unfortunatly theres nothing wrong electrically, gearbox seemed to be behaving much better though, typical really. Will get it flushed and see if it changes anything. Of course no trip in a zed can go without drama :rolleyes: , on the way down the PAS fluid sprayed itself all over the bonnet, thanks for the topup danny, unfortunatly it emptied itself again on the way home :(, oh well just another job for tomorrow.
