I've not found the right Zed myself yet, but I might be able to help.... 1. HID kit (http://www.300-zx.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=101&osCsid=aa22227bd2e8f8b6c197480287af48a0), brighter bulbs or there is this : (http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=26235&highlight=headlights) 2. My old GT4 used to do this, pain in the arse as it cuts out every 2 seconds. Could possibly replace the nozzle pipe area on Fuel tank entrance. 4. is it an aftermarket radio. Fitter has just wired it up incorrectly. There shold be two Positive power lines coming from the stereo...one wires to ignition, the other is hardwired to battery. May be worth visiting one of the Zed specialists for a general checkup.

Went to view a Zed today, 90 Import TT, and one strange thing I noticed was that it had Chrome/Metal trim around the front windscreen, instead of black rubber like I see in all pictures I view. Was this some sort of option, or is something missing from the trim ? Rest of the cars window/targa trim was black.

Im in the same boat....looking to purchase a Zed, and have been getting quotes. Usually find Tesco, Directline and Admiral to be about the same price, and thats usually a good price (about £950 for a UK car and £1050 for an Import for me - 25 yrs old with 3yrs NCB). Better than most, but I reckon can be bettered. Houghtons come highly recomended, but I've yet to get a quote from them as only looked at getting online quotes so far. I tried confused.com and got an amazing quote of £650 for a UK TT, but best price on an import was £1650

I believe your ok with stock chip as long as you keep boost under 12psi, as thats what the stock chip is mapped up to.

forgot to say, seen Magazine test with better 1/4 miles times than 14.4 (anything from 13.8 to 14.1) from a stock car.

It needs to be under 100x100 pixels "and" under 97.7kb. I think the text on the Profile picture screen reads "or", which is wrong.

Hi, Welcome to the forum. The 200SX tends to be more tail happy than the 300. Driving RWD is a totally different experience to FWD, and can take a bit of time to get used to the different approach to handling. The 2-seater is shorter(and lighter) and boot is a bit bigger. Imports are higher, but if you go to the right places the difference is small. Stock engine is unstressed and prime for tuning. Improved breathing, remap and boost increase gives a healthy increase.

:eek: whats going on....There were 12 Zed's for sale on ebay the other day....today there are 28 ! (couple of them are Z31's)......and about 12 of them were added today. edited : changed from 26 to 28...as even MORE were just added
