1. Standard "headlight tits".
2. U.S TT's had the switchable Sports and Touring suspension as standard on the Front and Rear. On UK models, for some unknown reason Nissan fitted the actuators to the rear only, but not the rest of the system to make use of them. The Handbrake trick is designed for diagnostic purposes only. Jap Imports had none of the system.
3. and whats worse is that interior is Standard (apart from the wooden centre)
4. "Constant radius turn" - That reminds me. I was passenger in a stock Z a couple of years back, running in Safety mode. A Porsche Cayenne Turbo (the 4x4) decided it wanted to play down this dual carriage way bypass, both cars about equal on the straight (the z in safety mode), but when it came to a fairly long but tight constant radius turn on this dual carriage way....both cars side by side....the old Z stuck like glue while the porsche with its fancy 4wd, but massively overbearing weight figure, started to slide and almost completely lost it....it gave us a fright :scared:, and a satisfied smile :).
5. hmm...didn't Brian Longs 300zx book quote there as being about 1390 UK Spec Z32's......
6. Without Brake light - 26590-49P00 With Brake light - 26590-30P15
7. VIN should start GCZ32 (or similar, depending on exact model) and is on the VIN plate on the Slam panel under bonnet.
8. Nothing mathamatical. First you tell it what colour your number is...so thats narrowed it down to 5 numbers already. Then on the 3rd screen its placed 1 of those numbers in each of the 5 houses, so by picking a house you have actually told it exctly what number you have chosen. The other screens are meaningless, just to throw you off. The door at end shows your number first no matter which one you click on.
9. lol @ presenters face. Brilliant
10. You can get adaptor spacers off the shelf to go from one PCD to another. Your only issue is going to be wether thats possible based on the Porshe offsets. I've no idea what the porsche offsets are.
11. Wrong stud fitment unfortunatly.
12. lol Glad you've got it sorted. Must admit, I read this thread yesterday and could'nt understand some of the replies - talking about Jap mirrors on a UK..etc ,and nobody had suggested the Switch. I Figured people knew something I didn't about your car from other threads so I didn't reply.
13. LOL  a quick search of just ebay, shows 18 TT's for sale. Then you have Autotrader, Pistonheads, Forum adverts...etc..etc
14. lol , you have too much time on your hands there Jeff !
15. I've been in a (modified) Z and completely embarrassed a 360 before. The Driver gave a thumbs up after. Cant beat the sound of the Ferrari in comparison though.
16. Yeh...sort of....It was a conference ran by the Institute of mechanical engineers (the organisation that provide chartered status to the engineering industry), and so I jumped at the chance to meet with the Mclaren development team .....potential future employer
17. ...or if Mclaren isn't your thing, then have some consolation pics of one of the toys I get to play with instead...
18. I was invited to an Engineering Seminar on the Mclaren MP4-12C Supercar tonight, hosted by their Head of Development. As a bonus he bought along said car, and I figured you guys may appreciate some of the pics I snapped and short vid. All phone-cam stuff in poor lighting unfortunately.

Is Nobody interested in a Xmas meal meet in the ASG area !?!?!?
20. Fronts have no adjustment as standard. Rears have some minimal adjustment as standard. Inner edge wear, particular on the fronts can also be from incorrect tracking (toe in/out), causing excessive scrub.
21. or MJP (in traders section) for new. btw - its pretty standard practice for the headlights to default to full beam if the lights fuse blows. (as a safety precaution to ensure you don't suddenly lose all lights when driving at night down dark lane)
22. Halfords paint mixing service - my gawd...never again!. On two seperate occasions they have royally ****ed up different paints for me.
23. I Forgot about the Lexus (IS & GS). A more unique option, but not really in the same league. They have that cheap plastic feel and not as good drivers cars.
24. Nissan dealers are useless, but for this part they are the cheapest and simplest to buy from. (no delivery costs). Just give them part number. Part number : 26590-49P00
