  1. Got time to put new interior in today. New Carpet, New dashboard, new dash & door panels. Boot and various other panels dyed from blue to Black. Series 2/3 - Black with Dark grey suede...nicer than the Blue tweed Not great pics...damn you Glary sun Just Aftermarket seats, new steering wheel, gearknob and 4-point roll cage to go for the interior! ..........oh and the engine and gearbox  ....which I have started to remove from donor car today. :hyper: Then she will be on the road :nana2:
  2. The Vh45 is definatly the engine of choice !! ..........but the ls1 is the American engine of choice if thats your thing.
  3. NA's still easily fetch 2-3x that asking price ;) Bargain. ..and NA's dont just have to be DD's....they can be just as much (and sometimes more) fun to drive than a TT! The Gearbox, not the engine, is that cars downfall :x:
  4. 300zx has dump valves as standard, they are just the recirculating variety so they dont make the "noise".
  5. I remember all of about 10 seconds of my time at school.
  6. ooh..never knew they changed the window switches.......would'nt mind a set of them
  7. Found this link, has details and pics http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=81049
  8. About £250 from MJP or Nissan
  9. Ouch..trust me that is expensive.... the 9000 mile Nissan service involves just checking the clutch and brake fliud and brake pads, thats it. If they have to actually top up or replace any of it then that is extra. They charge approx £1000 for the 60k Cambelt service. Nissan dealers :slap: Not to mention that most Dealer mechanics wont have even touched a 300zx before.

  13. What colour was it ? Paul@SWZ also raced a NSX on way back in a stock Supra TT and beat/matched it.
  14. Auto TT will still do the 0-60 in less than 6 standard. ;)
  15. No, you would beat an RS fron standard start to....its 0-60 is something like 6.5secs

  18. Comes with 2 as standard, but greg had his modified.
  19. Yep, it does. Will put ECU into safety mode - The auxillery fan will also be on all the time.
  20. Yep, thats normal behavior for a worn clutch to slip in higher gears rather than lower. Where is the biting point ?
  21. Yep, thats correct. Plug available from Nissan, MJP or 300zx Specialist garage. Try cleaning any corrosion from the connectors, and You could do a tempoary DIY repair and cut of the connector and fit some spade connectors on (tape them over to stop them touching), but get new connector asap.
  22. Jap is +/- 7 mmHG UK is +/- 14 PSI Both are however inaccurate and useless LOL
