  1. Do you know Iain that as got me thinking, I had thought up to reading this thread that on my JAE trip I had done 400 miles to the full tank, but thought I must of been mistaken and adjusted this back to 'it must of been 300', 400 I thought was impossible but going off what you say I am going back to my 400 miles on the full tank. Overall that weekend I did 1007 miles (went across to Belgium after JAE) and put in £170.00 worth of fuel
  2. You should be getting as stated 300 to a full tank or near to it. 205 is way too low, suggest this is not motorway miles or are you having too much fun :tt2: I recently on the JAE trip and then further south got more or less exactly 300 from a full tank.
  3. Absolute no need to post pics of your apartment  Methinks they should be removed  Enjoy
  4. I don't see why you cannot get the small female spade connectors onto your new lights to generate the two wires off, then at the other end of them again use small male connectors to join into the car plug.
  5. You might find if you do this with one leg out of the window and with your left eye partially shut - it will work much better :whistling:
  6. You are correct - portlyness is a common problem :tt2:
  7. You live and learn, I did not know or think that tidying up my photobucket would remove the pic at the start of this thread, I cannot get it back now. All this talk about Starbucks got my family all demanding Frappaccinos, so I got in the zedster and shot there and took the pic and put it back in post 1, how sad am I :whistling:
  8. The speed humps did catch my car :censored: I thought they was being smoothed out :confused1: only one it seems near the exit had some tarmac on it I was doing all sorts to avoid them, they certainly did their job :cursing: Great weekend though, roll on next year :tt2:
  9. I know Graham upgraded from 35w to what I have 55w ones, both from HK, he thinks there is a difference in brightness. artztogo had some sort of early primeval system  with more wiring than Blackpool illuminations  Don't like to state the obvious but are they adjusted correctly, adjusters broke?
  10. Got to be silver :cool2: I did mine with a chrome rattle can spray, I think they are somewhere between silver and chrome I wasn't sure I liked them at first but I am 100% happy  I would not put the glass/lense in the dishwasher, they can get almightily hot in there, I would just stick with hot soapy water :thumbup1:
  11. You are only crudely making the circuit with wires to test, don't expect it to be perfect until you get the pod back on. Getting sides to work at a time is fine for now, don't beat yourself up :hammer:
  12. You can check them by linking up the contact points in the multi plug, I suspect you have dangling. For instance the pink wires are for the dipped lights. the new side light halo's will be another one of them. Go on have a play, the pod is only a switch. The worst that can happen is that you may blow a fuse. Did you sort the adjusters then??
  13. I have 3 sets, £6.00 each delivered. I saw Graham's halos at JAE and I think they are suited Mod to the Zed.
  14. Make sure all your adjusters are working, if not replace with the Tamiya gears. I do have some spare, let me know. If you search 'Headlight Once Removed Jobs!!', i cannot link for some reason, i did a small write up on what I did :sweatdrop: One thing I wish now I had done was to fit 'Halos', but I aint taking them back out until I have another job at least to do on them :surrender:
  15. Well I have been all around the world and being a coffee lover my wife and I always make a bee line for Starbucks. Wifey told me there was a Drive Thru in Blackburn, about 9 mile away, and as it happened I went right past the very day after. There may be plenty but I had never heard of or seen a Drive Thru Starbucks before. I just had to have a Grande Vanilla Latte
  16. Ditto that :tt2: Post up some pics when fitted bud
  17. A minute apart - I knew you was thinking about me and me about you :tt2: 55 mins from me is Lymm, so as per my post, I will get off at 10am to 10.15am and look to get to Lymm at 11 or very soon after. I can always pick up a coffee if me there before you. I will ring you on route, say 10.40 ish and give you heads up as to where I am :phone:
  18. All set for tomorrow Daz? I am planning on getting off at 10am and will try not to let it slip to say 10.20am. Play it be ear once set off eh to meet up at Lymm just before 11am? I have your number. All this good with you? And please no flashing of nipples!!! :offtopic:
  19. Yes I have slipped them in my armrest, see you there.
  20. Not many of us left in this convoy :crying: :crying:
  21. It looks blue but you will find when you come to order that you have bronze glass on an import with a green sun strip at the top. This is what I am having trouble getting hold of. Blue tinted windscreens are not a problem apparently :taz:
  22. Let me know how you get on with regard to windscreen colour :cool3:
  23. About your windscreen, I am getting one through the insurance and will only cost me £50.00, so if you are fully comp then it must be a no brainer :tt2: I am in fact waiting for fitting as i want a bronze tinted one, Autowindscreens are telling me they are even struggling to source one even from Japan. So I will continue to wait as blue will not match my other glass :crying:
  24. I have 2 x Twin Turbo - £6.00 each 2 x Nissan - £4.00 each 2 x Fairlady Z - £7.50 each All seperate and in silver, all includes postage. View the pics of these exact ones fitted to my car. Of course not original OEM part for this money.
  25. My handbrake handle is tatty but how is it removed please? I have slid off the steel retainer at the button end but nothing else moves :cursing: Do I need to get a complete assembly? What bits come apart? There is one near me on a scrapper, the depress button as a slight gash in it so will not do, but the handle you grip is fine on it, so I am hoping to make a good one from the two :confused1:
