  1. Welcome! :p
  2. Was watching the film on Five last night...Called, On the Edge of Innocence. A fit chick was sitting up on the top of the seat, with the roof down. She slithered down into the seat and drove off, lo and behold, the gorgoeus rear end of a Zed dissapeared off into the night!!!
  3. Wahey, its working again!!!!! :hyper:
  4. Any one here had to deal with RMP's???? These Army coppers are so much worse than civvi pigs. We call them Monkeys, cos they are. :smw: The one 'assigned' to our camp is mince. He walks around wearing his flak jacket, 3 pairs of hand cuffs and numerous other pouches on his belt, ALL THE TIME. Oh yeah, he constantly has his bluetooth ear piece thingy in his ear, but the funny thing is, his phone is so old it cant possibly have bluetooth! Muppet!
  5. Wires and stuff confuse the hell out of me but have you looked in the Service manual yet http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi Might help!
  6. Yeah, breaks were cooking! More concerned with the hot burning smell... Living with an airfield in my 'back yard' is great! Awesome, as long as I dont get caught LOL! :hyper:
  7. Do these actually work??? If they do, which is the better one to go for? I'm sick of the sales pitch for these things, so if any of you own them I'd really appreciate your opinions. Dont want to spend loads on it and find its not as good as they say. Thanks ;)
  8. Cheers Greg, I'm happier knowing that mine wasnt the only one!! :D
  9. Hey everyone After taking my Zed for a quick blast up and down the air strip at work, I felt a hell of a lot of heat coming up from under tha car. First time I've felt it cos I was wearing shorts. Frekking cold outside tho! There was a slight burning smell too... Felt the alloys and there were really hot, especially as I'd only been driving for about 10 mins with no hard breaking. Didnt think there'd be that much heat soak through to the wheels. Any ideas guys and gals????! Cheers Andrew
  10. About bloody time!!!!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
  11. Have you checked all your fuses?? Especially the ones by the throttle pedal. My dash was posessed and found one of my fuses were blown, replaced it and hey presto!!! Good luck :p
  12. Have you tried a search yet??? That question cropped up a while ago.

  16. Richard, that 'stocking car' didnt happen to be a green Fiat Bravo by any chance??! A guy at work did exactly the same thing. Looked pathetic! :slap:
  17. Being one of the younger guys on this forum, I think, I can relate to all your jokes about apprentices!! I grew up in South Africa and after leaving school I started being an appy, as we call them. I worked for this guy and we did general engineering, fitting and turning, lathes, milling machines etc. I too started by sweeping the floor, emptying the bins and being the beloved brew b1tch. Had the joy of searching for a tin of compression, glass hammer, box of sparks too. Must admit I like the sky hook! Looking back, being an appy was one of the best tiimes of my life, hard work but i learnt so much from my boss. We need you old buggers to teach the new generation of tradesman, pity the attitude of the newbee isnt how it should be! :xxx: I thought when I joind the army and became an Air Tech I wouldnt have to go through it all again.... Oh how wrong was I! 'Corporal, go to the stores and fetch a flexi crowbar', 'Yes sergeant' Now its my turn, mwahahaha!!!! Long live the appy!!!!
  18. Good choice mate, I was looking at buying that Zed a few months ago. The guy even offered me 6k, obviously needs to get rid of it! I've got an auto, very easy to drive except when it decides to down shift while going round a big round about, get exciting to say the least!! Next Zed will be a manwell though, more fun and at least I'll change the gears when I want too!
  19. I'm the only guy on base with a Zed. So many people say 'have I seen SFTR?'!!! Some mates and i have bought tickets for the show just so we can go and see SFTR, no that is not happening, GUTTED! :( Will post on your site now Mark. Hope to see you guys soon though!
  20. All the best, now you just gotto plan your routes via Shell service stations! LOL! :duffer: :duffer:
  21. Hey everyone I'm looking at selling my Megane having just bought my Zed. When would the best time be to put it on the market? Before or after Xmas? Dont wanna waste my time and cash advertising it now, only to find it'll be beter to do it early next year, or visa versa. Any ideas? Cheers BTW... R reg Renault Magane 1.6e Sport, lecky everything, p/s drivers airbag RED, £2200, or a club discount LOL!
  22. Hehe! :D My Zed got me back for declaring it SORN by dropping her bonnet on my head, ouch  Bonnet stay slipped off the catch thingy.

I think I did the same day out as Davido140. Thruxton. The laps in the F355 were ok, also told be to 'be careful with the car'. Still, got it sidways on 2 occasions and got some throttle stear out of certain corners! :D The single seater Formula Renault were AWESOME though. Never had so mush fun! You're on your own in a 130bhp car that weighs the same as a bag of feathers, tearing up the track.. Even over took the Lambo Mercielago, well, it was being driven by a granny on her 75 birthday! :x: Defo do it again
  24. Cheers Jock! have a pint... :duffer: !
