  1. Hi Jeff,Can you PM me as a test.

  3. That's a great list of things to watch out for but easiest one to look out for would be all the Jap writing would it not?
  4. Yeh, tried for ages and it wouldn't budge!
  5. Confirmed 36 for the tt but halfords never had it in stock so will have to wait and order one in.
  6. Whats the socket size needed to take the rear hub bolt off ? Can't get the old ball joint out after attacking it with a blow torch so I'm now Just going to remove the full knuckle and get it pressed out.
  7. This is a call for help to anyone in the Ayrshire area that's got a blow torch. I undertook a Hicas bypass and the ball joints are totally stuck. Been whacking it with a hammer for hours and it's barely moved a mm. Anyone local who has or knows of someone who can help heat this fooker up would be great. Cheers Lee
  8. Hopefully within the week. I know its been a long time but until recently the software used for the rides section wasn't compatable with version 4 of vbulletin. I have a test system built so that things can be installed without effecting the live system. When things are proven to be stable and working we will turn them on. Lee
  9. Rides section isn't lost, it's just disabled as its incompatable with the current forum version. And no it won't be lost, even when I do turn the new rides section back on.
  10. I'm sure we can do a group ban ! Just pop your name down and when we can give better bans for the more who sign up.:thumbup1:
  11. Welcome to the team:thumbup1:
  12. Won't make this as I'm currently zed less while it gets some needed driftworks upgrades.
  13. Makes you wonder why its had 9 previous owners, and then 10 if you did buy it !
  14. So plan was for my lazy ass to get all the work done for about £150 - £200 bux but the garage i had it booked into managed to get a car stuck on the ramps so they cancelled me at the last moment. Not wanting to waste a good days holiday pre booked of from work i thought i'd un lazy myself and get to work. Well its a bitch of a job fitting all the gear i got and only thing to be done now is the hicas but i'm having issues with how i'm going to get the old ball joints off; read a few threads here and its cross between a blow torch and atacking them with a grinder. my zeds once again fully stripped interior wise to get into the bolts for my meisters (twice this year already). Its taken me two full days nearly to fit everything with a wee break yesterday as i had a stripped bolt which i had to go buy a kit to get off. Its been an experience doing this as now i feel i'm once again closer with my own zed. Shame i'm gonna take a grinder to her tomorrow.
  15. Got me till the last line !
  16. Personally i would say no, as how would the engine regulate air at idle ?
  17. Not much, getting all my driftworks kit fitted this friday so zed will be off the road for a day. It will need a new alignment done afterwards so no long zed trips for me at the moment. How you getting along with your zed ?
  18. Looks like you melted a dairy milk over it.:thumbup1:
  19. Ok, all above should be getting fitted this friday - So As i'm not the one doing it; is there anything needs done prep wise before install. ie, will i need to strip out the rear plastics / seats to get into the coilover bolts Will they need to be dropped to fit anything ?
  20. Belongs to my wife but i do drive it as the family car on occasion, Where about are you ?
  21. Virgin Media seem to have issues with there DNS servers. Easy fix if you know how is to update your own on your router to use open dns. http://www.opendns.com
  22. If it works via that proxy server I emailed you then your service provider must have some serious issues with there own DNS servers! Glad the quick fix works for now!
  23. Easily done if you want it !
