LOL - bloody crap jap parts !! I have managed to snap one of the (ridculously brittle plastic !) pipes (ringed) on this part when changing to silicone vacuum tubing. :headvswal Can someone tell me what it is - or even better let me know if they have one going spare ? I did a search on the number on it but didn't find anything. It is located on the drivers side (one of two). Any help appreciated... Cheers

I think people forget that these cars are 15 or 16 years old - lets face it most cars of that age are going to have problems.

I am replacing the brake booster hoses with Smithy's silicone ones - I am a bit confused as on Smithy's website it says a TT should have 3 or 4 hoses and and NA should have 2. Mine is a TT and I appear to only have 2 (hoses 2 & 3) - where are the rest ? :confused: Anyone got any ideas ?

It's also interesting that the majority of people haven't had "the honk" - maybe the recirc valves wear differently. Are the Jap different to the UK ?

If it is the Kent & Sussex hosp then you are totally right !!! Having said that probably best to get it checked over and maybe x-rayed
