You wouldnt want to put it on the lower rad hose, as thats after the radiator has cooled the water, you would want it on the top hose so it knows how hot the engine is getting, but i understand what you are on about.

really me, thought id lighten the mood a bit, got some candles (though need to wait for it to get dark) some mellow music, some rose petals for me bath and my blue fluffy slippers....... oops got a bit carried away there.

To be honest im really not sure why my temperature creeps, though i really do think its the radiator. HG is definitely not blown, im not losing coolant, i have no mayo and the block test ive done 5 times, the water never changes colour. Only thing i can put it down to is crappy old rad i changed when my other one was blocked, though really should of actually got around to changing it by now lol. If it had A/C you do get the added benefit of having the Aux fan come on when the A/C is on to aid cooling of both radiators, and i can some what keep the temp from climbing by turning the heater on and the Aux fan from inside the car using conzults.

Its on the list along with, rear sills, rear wheel arches, abflug type 4, blow up sheep, KY jelly and new car lol

its not plumbed in bud, not only that, the A/C adds to the heat, if my car isnt cooling due to all the stuff mentioned in the way, the last thing i want to do is add a hot radiator infront of a hot radiator and blow hot air on to it lol

a few of the lads on the US site, removed the fan and added a twin electric from another car onto the rad, looked awesome, he said even in temps of 104F he was getting temps of 88 to 90. fan is from a 92 maxima (us car) Z1 hose adaptor and a Derale thermo switch Not sure if you can get these parts imported, but seems to be a big mod in the US.

with my Pug 406, i ran wires from the fan directly, one was the power and spliced into the earth, ran that and split it inside the cabin to a onswitch. I suppose you could link it to a temperature sensor that once reaches a certain temp, sets the fan in motion. though not sure how or what system you could use for that. most likely be able to get a kit of ebay or something. ive been thinking the same, really need to remove my A/C rad, had the nose panel off yesterday, and im surprised by just how much the incoming air has to travel through to get to the engine. On mine its this. FMIC> Air Filter(partial blocking)>Oil cooler>A/C fan>A/C radiator> coolant radiator, no wonder it heats up in the sun like we have been having. even with the bonnet lifted at the rear, its not making a blind bit of difference as it doesnt seem like it can draw the air through the radiator.

i have the same issue, had brought version of conzults, had to extend the box from the port to the rear of the car, now wont work so have to use the free version just to get the visual display of parameters, but if i want to actually test or check anything i have to use ODB scantech Nissan. Heard it has something to do with conzults thinking you have a illegal copy so refuses to connect as it wont connect with a ebay conzults box either for some strange reason. i think it has something to do with extending the cable in my case. though my laptop is fecked now so cant check.

i can actually see that working if they just left it alone and put a 6k hid kit on it :lol:

Do you have a S1 or S2 PTU, S1 has the metel fins on it is rather square as well, the S2 PTU is smaller, almost diamond shape ish. Id start at the PTU connectors, the CAS, then coilpacks, then spark plugs. Does sound PTU ish though

My first zed never had a hid kit, and i never went out after dark after the first time i did it. blooming hell i like to see where im going, every zed ive had since then has had the hid kit, so much better.

i see what you mean lol 300zx + 350 haha jay is that a real car or paintshop unfortunately that's a real car, you would be better off getting either a HID kit, or modifying the existing lights, but im not sure on the legality on that.
