  1. lol i got a silver hand now after spraying them len's rings, damn you car.mad for giving me ideas
  2. yep my cloth is black now from both lenses lol At least i got rid of that spider carcass that was doing my nut in, going to go clean the glass now. then work on how to fix these angel eyes, but does seem as though someone has already been in these, one of the plastic inlays that is held in place with two screws at the front, has had the screw holes snapped off.
  3. hmm cant seem to get the Len's out to give it a good clean, one of the adjuster screws is now refusing to budge
  4. I'm either blind or you didn't post one lol if your on about the one in your sig then its very hard to tell
  5. dunno, get me a picture of yours lol
  6. wow that was fast both glasses off  time to clean I love the smell of headlights cooking in the evening.....
  7. first one is in, shes going to kill me if this thing melts all over the inside of the cooker lol
  8. figuring out how to work that cooker thing was challenging enough for one night.... Meh, hmmm i have 2 screws on the front of the light with nothing attached where they are, I'm taking it that should be a bracket for the rubber to sit on? but its not there.
  9. Are you trying to jinx me or something
  10. Nope, thank god, im betting its not going to come apart though lol
  11. the way this is going i think this is not going to go too easy like that lol
  12. Finally after much f'ing and blinding, i managed to snap the rear drivers side headlight bolt, and managed to get to the passenger side back bolt with out removing anything other than the Airbox :D Now the fun of removing the glass, any tips? i know about 200 degrees for around 15mins (constant checking) and prying gently, think when i put them back together ill just clean off the old glue and use some thing else to seal them up
  13. Strange, i seem to remember reaching for my 14mm spark plug remover. going to go check i haven't put the wrong size sparkys in lol (doubt it, but just something niggling me now)
  14. Whats the best thing to stick the buggers back onto the car with? was toying with the idea of doing the bath trick, but before i strip my car of them, need to know the best way of sticking them back on, last thing i want to do is create more leaks, i only have 2 so feel lucky lol
  15. Im not going to beg for votes, and i dont see how i could make you all vote for MrsVodkaShots either......:whistling:
  16. looking how clean his engine is, it would have to be surgical gloves and clean overalls. well i wouldn't be in a 300zx, but a citroen ZX lol bit smaller less power, but better fuel econ.
  17. Joely is this some get together to all work on Gibsters motor and get it on the road quicker? if so count me in
  18. Agreed with above, first place of call the easy things, check / change the plugs, if still doing it, try cleaning all the connectors at the top of the engine (IE: injector connectors be careful taking these off, the little metal clip can be a PITA to get at some times and likes to run away when taking them off) then check the obvious like Coil pack connectors as well.
  19. Woot, thanks vinz (subscribe dude, doesn't seem right with your name not green lol) ill give that a go tomorrow :D
  20. clutch is pretty straight forward to change on these cars. and you may as well do a transmission fluid change while you're there. Wouldn't say its a hard job just time consuming. If doing it your self leave the prop as a whole (unless you are lucky enough to find a one piece under there) then just undo and drop the center bearing, it will pull the prop out of the gear box on its way to the floor, glide it out your self so as not to let it hit the deck and move the prop to one side, should be enough flex at the ends to get it clear. this way it saves having to mark where the join is. that is of course if your center bearing is in good condition other wise it would be a good opportunity to change that as well. Now assuming you have a TT, Zcenter do a kit for £212, that also gives you a new clutch bearing as well.
  21. stupid thing is i cant see the damn things, if they are anything like my elbow bolts they will look like they are welded to the damn thing. Thought id get the downpipes off one day, so had a look at the bolts where the down pipe meets the bottom of the elbow, thought to my self aah just a case of wire brushing to get the thread back. ooh how wrong i was. but i do have very shiny nuts with no thread now  Just wondering if that's what the problem is. 20 years of crap build up that has managed to set like liquid metal
  22. lol baz, you had the same thought as me, police are little more relaxed around here, what with Santa pod / silver stone / rocking ham speedway, and the countless Big major jap meets so close to me. i have a nice duel exit mongoose system up for a swap lol
  23. If i remember correctly its 14mm matey
  24. what cans do you have fitted? Nevermind just read your rides section lol
  25. AARRGGGHHH those bloody bolts, thats it wheres me drill
