  1. i know, my kids are product testers mate. has nothing against hating apple, my little girl loves my iphone. They just know how to test things to destruction
  2. A garage will only do the work the customer asks to be done, if the garage made the customer aware and they failed to get the job done, its hardly the garages fault. Must of been quite a leak though in order to lose all the oil.
  3. to be honest, although you can do it from under the car, you would be better off getting the crank checked. so engine out get it on a engine stand and have plenty of room with which to work with. You might also want to check where the oil leaked from, and get that repaired as well. Engine out is not as bad as it seems, it looks a lot worse due to the amount of cabling that is draped across the engine. in D2s defence they are actually really good with zeds, so would be surprising if it was darren's fault, but i doubt it. If he made you aware of the oil leak and you continued to drive it with out getting it fixed, you cant exactly say it was D2's fault.
  4. want to donate a galaxy S to my daughter and son? if it then lasts longer than my iphone did, ill consider that you might have a valid arguement, if it also then fixes just as easily. My iphone has been thrown against the ground where the touch screen was smashed, yet it still worked, i then fixed it and broke the LCD, so replaced that, 2 weeks later my daughter decided it looked good upside down in a pool of juice where after drying it out and having to replace the touch screen and digitizer (for just £20 i might add) it was then working flawlessly again, then a day after my son bit into the damn thing after finding my hiding spot and smashed the digitizer again, again £5 part later, the iphone was fixed. The only issue i have after all that, is I accidentally snapped the connector for the earpiece, so i have to put it on loud speaker or use my hands free kit. But the iphone still works perfectly other wise. It has to be one of the most robust phones ive ever used. the circuit board inside (going by my kids) is bomb proof. And although the Digitizer has been smashed a few times, its not that its fragile, its just my kids didn't know how to be soft and gentle with it at the time. It hasn't been smashed in about 7 months now or drowned lol My daughter now uses it as a educational tool and knows how to use it and shes only 3 years old. and the best thing about the iphone is. there is nothing she can do to it by using it, thats going to feck it up.
  5. Sounds like i need to come around and sort your gaming PC out, mine runs flawlessly, with out all the "update, virus scan" shenanigans you are on about. To be honest if you dont visit porn sites, or only decent ones, your not going to be risking a virus any time soon, windows 7 and even vista are pretty bloody good at filtering out the wrong programs getting onto your system. In the year ive been running 7 and the 3 years i was running vista, i never had a virus as never went to porn sites, i don't run virus software now as there really isnt any point. If you run 2 harddrives, one specifically for the OS and the other for games / programs / all other files. in the likely event you do get something that cocks your system up, its easier and you don't loose all your files. Also, what issues are you having running 64bit programs? im yet to encounter any that have had 64bit compatibility issues? i can even still run a lot of the dos games out there on my windows 7 machine with dos box, and never had a problem running any of the windows xp games or windows 98 games. or programs for that matter. and paulC, nope not sure any one has lol
  6. Would just like to add that the iphone OS is absolutly amazing to be honest, how you say its complicated to work is beyond me, its simple as hell. also ive never had my iphone crash on me, unlike my mates galaxy S where he had to keep resetting the phone when it locked up on him. also ive never known anyone to brick there iphone to the point they could not recover it.
  7. see how much that interfeared with my use of the iphone, didnt even know that lol it used to be you could only have a custom ringtone if you had purchased it from the itunes store, but then ive only ever had one ring tone on my iphone, at least i know its ringing then
  8. Can you ring me please matey, i left you a message on facebook at the weekend, but you dont check it enough lol.
  9. in respect of what you said, before i found out about jailbreaking, i could still use it how i wanted, more than i could my HTC touch HD at the time. Jailbreaking it is fun as it opens up a lot of other fun functions. yes admittedly a lot of phones had them functions to start with, but nothing that was going to stop the phone from working how it was intended. i still used it fine for 3 months and didnt even notice the restrictions. Even though my phone is jailbroken now, the only upside its given me is the ability to use music from my itunes library as a ring tone and flash, which to be honest for just 2 extra functions is hardly "really restrictive" You could always have a custom ring tone, as long as you purchased it from the itunes store, so again apart from apple restricting you to having purchased it, its hardly very restrictive. Not all people like a custom ring tone and with the audience the iphone was aimed at, i suppose it made sense that someone didn't have drum and bass blaring out in a board meeting if you forgot to turn your phone to silent lol Flash, isnt a major thing, everything website i visit, including what i have on my PC favorites, doesnt use flash so no loss there to me either. the phone is just great, super fast, super responsive, bright (can read the screen with 32degrees of sunshine on it with the brightness turned up) if you close the apps that are running in multitask in the background the battery lasts just as long as any other smart phone on the market. sorry mate, the only phone ill upgrade my iphone to, is another iphone.
  10. well this is how much i care about the apply company, i had to go google steve jobs, to find out who or what holllow was on about lol
  11. im actually interested to hear what these restrictions are, because at the moment im yet to find one that stops me using my iphone how i want too. So far ive managed to put a custom ring tone on it, watch flash video, use the web, record video, take a photo, use it as a GPS device in my car, make and recive phone calls, stream audio from my iphone to my Bluetooth car head unit, tether it and use it as a modem, play some of the most intuitive games available, send a picture via text message, check my emails, get on the forum, watch porn, copy and paste, take a screenshot of what ever is displayed on the phone, customise the home screen, get half way through a text message while receiving another text, answer the other text message then come back to the original text message i was typing and finish it off and send it, download torrents linked to my PC from the hand set its self, get a wifi signal from stupid ranges, post on the forum. Upload a photo to photobucket directly from my handset and then post the same image on to the forum, messenger live, google earth, tomtom. seriously im struggling to find what these restrictions are? As for iphone taking things from others and applying it to there own, well its swings and round abouts, there are a lot of companies doing the same with apple, they take what apple have done and apply it to there own product. I watched an avert the other day for a new nokia, it uses the same duel touch screen to zoom in and zoom out as the iphone does, IE: pinch to zoom in, spread to zoom out. i have friends with samsung Galaxy's S, and Galaxy S II's and i can still honestly say, that although they are a good phone, i still prefer my iphone. Wouldn't have a Mac though. PC through and through on that front. Ooh and once you jailbreak your iphone and get away from apple, there really is nothing the phone cant do.
  12. Samsung galaxy s sorry but another iPhone wanna be phone, that just doesn't do it, and if you think that not being able to run flash on the iPhone is a handy cap for the device, your very much mistaken. I'm not a apple fan but I am aware of just how damn good the iPhone is
  13. Matey i can get you some top quality photos taken of them if you ever wanted. :cool3:
  14. so when can i come down with my DSLR and get some photos, ill promise not to drool on the body work.
  15. i love my iphone, dont think id ever change it to anything else. once jailbroken, best phone ever lol
