Sorry to hear your leaving us bud , it was quite a shock to read whats happened to Chunk , but no doubt i ,ll see you all at some meets of some kind. :dance: :dance: Why can,t ALL forums with a joint interest in the type of cars we enjoy be in touch with each other , having joint meets and the like . The last few meets i,ve been to have mainly been organised by the Z club but including many members from here , i,m not even registered with them but they don,t seem to mind and they were great , just like minded people enjoying our cars I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE IDEA BEHIND FORUMS . My 2p.s worth.

Glad you didn,t have an accident bud , a wheel and tyre is a small price to pay for what could have been far worse .

Not me , my car . I was getting the old problem of smoking on tickover and a puff of smoke when pulling away , changed the PCV valves and pipes about six months ago , they were knackered so i thought that might be the problem but no it carried on doing the same :smash: All pointed towards the turbo oil seals :cry: so i bought a pair , had them re-conned , got some decat pipes and a gasket set . Right now here,s the wierd bit Since thrashing round a couple of laps at Bruntingthorpe i noticed the smoking had basically stopped , bit hard to tell unless someone,s following to watch but the sooty build up that used to occur on my n/s tailpipe has got a lot less and no signs of smoke on tickover and pulling away. Had a good thrashing round Donnington at the weekend and there,s no sooty build up on the tailpipe at all :confused: Anybody else experienced owt like this or have i got a self healing car :nono:

A cheap model jet engine starts around £1300 and goes up to around 4 to 5 grand :shock: :shock: These include a fully automated on board starting system and shut down with a cooling sequence . I,ve seen model jets at shows doing 250-300 mph in a straight line , they do look and sound just like the real thing :bow: A proper mans toy :smash: HTH

Ayup Sean , could be your VVT springs , they tend to weaken with age and cause a rattle on tickover , can be heard at the top of the engine , if it is, it,s not a big job and the springs are only £1.75 each from nissan HTH bud :hyper:

o/s Is easy to change the n/s is a total bitch to get on but it can be done with the right tools HTH
