  1. yes i removed the fuel filter tube and there was pressure, ive been told its probably the fuel injectors, how can i verified if they work...
  2. yes i did... but i kept the n/a harness, I removed the boost selenoids and add a manual boost controller
  3. I vote chewie!!! for a great mix of 99 stock & aftermarket body rear bumper, exhaust, 99 jdm wing & tail light makes it the best looking 300zx rear end ive ever seens!

  5. if the arrow point on the ptu point towards the hood it's ok it was running right on the previous engine (n/a)
  6. Maybe your right ive also change the ptu and was not sure witch side to connect it ill try that right away thanks karlosg Oh and turned out the crank angle sensor cant be 180 deg. off 2 crank turn for 1 cam turn :smw:
  7. Yesterday I tried to start my Z for the first time since I switch a n/a to tt engine... The crank rotates, fuel is ok, coil pack sparks. but not a single explosion. Then I remember I swap the cam position sensor because of connector difference (1995-1990) I though maybe it is 180 degree off (the half shaft connecting on the cam) making it spark after the blow of the suck squish bang blow Can I play with the timming without damaging something when I start it??? Can I play with the timming while the engine runs??? Any other useful information on the timming??? Could it be something else???
  8. I'll fit a 95 EFI harness with a 91 ECU. Will it work? If not, can I modified the harness to make the car work properly? I've already changed the fuel injector connector for earlier model...
  9. Does anyones have heard of a na to tt swap with the NA AC pipe routing? it seems to interfer with the intercooler pipe... Mainly I dont want to release the ac gaz and buy a tt pipe. Can i bend the AC pipes without damaging them if it wont fit? Will it be enought to make it fit?
  10. I stripped balance tube tapped holes :o . So I'll plug them with a tig and tap them back. My question is, do I have to remove module (ecu,etc.) before processing the welds to prevent damaging them?

  13. first of all sorry for my english im french ;) I'm swapping a tt engine into a n/a car and i ran into a few problems This is my first project car and i dont know much about car mechanics, ive learn much since i started the project and solves a lot fo problems myself but now i need your help. My n/a car is a 95 L/H 5 spd My tt engine is from a 90-93 R/H auto mechanical issues the oil cooler mountings holes doesnt seems to fit anywhere where should it be mount (a pics would be appreciated) electrical issues on my 95 harness i have a connector that goes right next to the egr valve and i dont have this connection on my tt engine... im using the tt ecu do i need to do something about this or just leave the connector unpluged? Vacuum issues 1 I bought a manual boost controller and I removed the stock wastegate solenoid... there was a hose from (before turbo compression piping) to the wastegate solenoid. It seems like I dont need this connection with my aftermarket boost controller is that correct? Do I plug those holes... 2 I also bought a boost gauge i plug it right on the balance tube... will it work properly. if not where i should plug it 3 With the egr & prvr valve solenoids i copy my n/a engine plumbing but i really like too have a diagram for this since the service manual is not clear about those connections 4 I removed the (wheel well) to find out there was no AIV :confused: is this critical??? my n/a engine was working great :confused: 5 Where is the boost jets goes (does it matters if there is any, if yes, why) 6 Where the right throttle chamber vacuum (pointing the front of the car) is plugged to... 7 where recirculation valve top should lead (where on the intake manifold) That's it for now Thanks for reading this I hope you guys can help me out ;)

  16. I BOUGHT A TT FRONT CLIP FROM JAP AND I DISCOVER THE TIMING BELT WAS BROKEN... :mac1: DOES VALVES CLEARS THE PISTON ANY OTHER PROBLEMES U GUYS CAN SEE :confused:

I'm about to receive jdm front clip TT :hyper: were i live the driver side is left and it's legal to switch to the right so guess what. :D I know u can do that with some cars cause there is only 1 frame for both driver side. So i'd like to know if the Zed is build that way. (O yeah, a won't cut my Z in half and weld the front jdm with my american back hehe) Is there any thing i should know about before removing the dashboard Any information would be appreciated. :) Sorry for my english, i'm a french canadian.
  19. WheelOffsetCalculator Stock front 16x7.5 45 mm offset rear 16x8.5 35 mm offset. Gt4 front 18x8.5 25mm offset rear 18x9.5 30mm offset Front Inner Clearance:7mm MORE (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing) Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 33mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel) Rear Inner Clearance:8mm less (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing) Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 18mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel) Rear will fit no prob. For the front ill put 33mm spacer on stock wheels and give it a try ;)
  20. I can get lm gt4 nismo wheels for a real good price, Since they are build for a Z33 i don't know if they gonna fits my Z32 front 18 x 8.5 offset 25mm rear 18 x 9.5 offset 30mm will they fit :confused:

  22. LMAO no hicas, a NA diff, 7500$ added value for 3500$, a 60 000km engine & tranny j-spec facia i should tought of that long ago. im gonna buy another n/a make the swap and sell it hehehe
