My friend just bought an old Z (1800$) about nothing, less than 900 pounds, he's considering to put a ford 429 in it, is it possible to achieve this without major mods, like cutting the firewall and building a new drivetrain tunnel... timing
I recently swap a jdm 92 tt in my 95 na, first time i tried to time the car it was at +20 so i tried to reach +15, as soon as i got +15 the car rev a bit and the timing went crasy +30 +20 +40...in a second, so i stop the engine, i reposition everything to where it was, I check the self-diagnose and i got a 55 code... then I start the engine again warm everything up rev the engine a bit and find out that the timing is now + 30, the engine runs smooth... so i give it another try but i cant only get to +20 and the engine is not running smooth anymore... anybody can help, please!!!

newbie boost question
I recently swap a na for a tt. I was having issue starting the engine (Injectors were clogged) I've fix that I started it this afternoon, engine seems to work fine. but this is my first turbo car and i just want to know if boost is normal... on idle i have 20 psi of vacuum, I can't put the car in gear already so I rev the engine on neutral like 4000 rpm and only get 0 psi on stock turbo is this normal? will i get more boost when a gear is engage?

Vibration Question
Yes you can verify the rubber mount on the manual gearbox replace it with a nismo unit Nismo Mount I really doubt you can find a number for this bearing... personnaly I bought an aluminium 1 piece driveshaft: no more bearing probleme, way lighter and it looks really nice :)
