  1. Hi I own a 1993 UK spec TT manual. i have just changed my standard rad for a Koyo performance rad of Greddy. The Koyo is definetely a nice rad. If you just want a standard rad, make me an offer. i guarantee it is in perfect working order. i just changed it for the perfomance. :hyper: Regards Kevin
  2. There are loads of people doing this kind of rip off. i got burnt recently. they have no feedback. you will find his postage address is different to his registered address on E-bay. And you can only pay cash or cheque. You send them payment, and never here from them. i then left negative feedback against him so no others got ripped. but you loose your money. i am now going through E-bay dispute, but they are lame. I guarantee it is a rip off. :headvswal Regards Kevin
  3. Hi Guys I own a UK spec 300ZX TT manual. In the last 2 months i have purchased and in the middle of fitting the following :- Greddy Profec B Boost Controller Apexi BOV's Greddy FAT Turbo Timer Greddy side Intercoolers Smithy Under Drive Pulley + Belts Hard Radiator Pipes Hard Turbo Pipes Koyo Radiator New water Thermostat New Water Pump Greddy Radiator Cap Carbon Fan Cover Oil Filter Greddy Oil Adapter Gauges + Sensors New Oil Pressure Switch 3 POD Pillar + Gauges Mocal Oil Cooler Blits SUS Induction System De-Cat Pipes New Oxygen Sensors RPS Max Clutch RPS Flywheel RPS Pin S.S. line Short Shifter Energy Systems Poly Suspension Kit GetGreddy ECU Iridium Spark Plugs Grounding Kits Now looking to future. Next engine mod will be new turbos. Planning on keeping standard turbos for a bit as they have only done 2000 miles. My question is, i am thinking of uprating to JWT Sport 530 Ball Bearing Turbos w/ Downpipes + a set of 555 injectors. will i need to replace engine internals? The engine is new and only done 2000 miles? Or what PSI could i run before i need to fit new pistons etc? What sort of power should i expect to get with what i have fiited so far on 14 psi. Both at fly and rwhp? What power would i be looking at with new turbos & injectors. Looking for big-ish power if pos with turbo whistle. Thankyou for any help Kevin
  4. has anyone out there got any advise? PLEASE.
  5. Hi Guys Looking for some advise. I own a 1993 300ZXTT UK spec manual. I am about to fit De-cats,new RPS max clutch & flywheel. I have drained gearbox, but oil seems crappy. Want to flush crap out of gearbox, diff and piping to cooler. As over 12 years, small particles & crap must build up. what do you recommend i use to flush appart from fresh gearbox oil? i was thinking of using petrol as a flushing agent. Plan is remove gearbox, fill up with petrol, roll around to flush, then drain out, fit clutch flywheel, then refit. Then remove diff, fill with petrol, wash around and drain. Then force petrol through cooling lines to clean. Is this a good idea, or is there something better to use. I was thinking of replacing cooling lines with stainless steel braid hosing, instead of flushing. Any advise would be appreciated. Regards Kevin Harris
  6. hi paul As you know i am modding my 300ZX at present. The picture attached shows all 3 coolers. Air con condenser, oil cooler & power steering cooler. The problem with th UK oil cooler, is if you fit a Stillen or Blitz air filter, you cannot easily fit headlight panel. I have removed mine now and fitted a 235mm wide x 19 row Mocal oil cooler instead. Now fit filter easier. Hope this helps you. Give us a shout if you need any more help. Have all coolers & radiator out of car at present Regards Kevin Harris
  7. No i brought the complete De-cat pipes from Chris @ Getgreddy. http://www.300-zx.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=29&products_id=45&osCsid=a6578261c7a8186ee31095a92022c7c6 They include the precats. So all i need do is remove the pre-cats & main cats then bolts these in their place. But as above what sequence for fitting.
  8. Hi guys I have brought a set of De-cat pipes off GetGreddy. To fit a UK TT '93 manual. Can i fit them without removing the gearbox? I have managed to remove the heatsheilds off the passenger side pre-cat, JUST. It looks really tight to unbolt from turbo. If you can remove. Do i need to remove O2 sensor first? Then unbolt from turbo, or can i remove as one lump? Plus, the O2 sensors do you have to use the correct tool? I am also fitting a Profec B, which while removing loads of bits to get to has allowed me good visibility to O2 sensors. Regards Kevin :duffer:
  9. Hi guys can anyone tell me where i can get these painted to look like a chrome finish. doing some tuning work to engine. ideal time to get Re-sprayed. I did get them done years ago by Paul Bailey. who sent them to Sandwich Composites. They did a crap job. Thus the reason i want to get tehm redone. Otherwise can someone tell me what paint i need to do this myself. Regards Kevin. :duffer:
  10. hi guys about to change old radiator for KOYO performance one from Greddy. can somone tell me where the drain cocks are on both sides of engine? my Z is a UK spec Manual '93. i have drained system so far remove radiator. but cannot see where these drain cocks are to flush system. Or is there a better way to flush and drain system before filling back up demin+antifreeze?
  11. hi guys, i have a UK spec 93' TT. I had a Clifford Concept 600 fitted about 4-5 years ago CAT 1. Features are stunning, voice warn away, remote engine start, you can also control the alarm plugging in a PC, the list goes on. Mean't to be really difficult to crack also. there is now an updated version called G5 range with the new concept 650. i have found it to be really dependable, but make sure the people who fit it know what they are doing, because it plugs into every part of your car.
  12. I have got a firewall but set to not block from 300zx site. I downloaded from How to install the Greddy Profec B II http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=30170 Is this the same place you got them from?
  13. hi Just brought off Greddy, Profec B spec 2 boost controller. Downloaded instructions on how to fit. Would anyone have the pictures as they seem to have been deleted? Plus purchased the following electric gauges, oil temp, pressure & water temp. The 300zx dash already has water temp & oil pressure, i know electric gauges are more accurate. Is it possible to have both the new gauges & dash gauges working? Seem a waste to have the dash gauges not registering?
  14. Kez Do you mean an exhaust flamer kit? i am about to De-cat, wondering about flamer kit, do not know if work very well and what/where to buy.
  15. hi i am trying to decide which wing mirrors to fit to my Z either Ganadors or Veilside. Can anyone tell me which look & fit the best? ideally, i want them to have indicator built in, electric adjustment + electrical retract. even though my Z is UK. thought i might be able to wire in to work. What do you think?
  16. I brought Koni adjustable shocks & eibach springs. but now, i think i will buy Tein fully adjustable shocks, with EDC which means you can adjust the stiffness in the car while driving. Total cost about £1K.
  17. Do you know how to get hold of him? As all i am looking for is the angel eye conversion. not looking for chrome paint finish. PS thanks for the reply
  18. does anyone know how i can get hold of cos. the dude that does work on 300ZX headlights i have sent him a message to get hold ofme but, no reply. Does he still do them. if anyone can get hold of him. could you ask him to get in touch? Thanks
  19. Cos If i send you a brand new set of headlights i will be buying from Z Centre. could you open them up, and fit angel eye lights to them, and send the same pair back? I do not want them put back together, as when Luke sprays up my car i will get him to spray the inner tray the same colour as the car. could you advise me a cost
  20. looking at spec have any of you told them your car is modified? Usually makes a massive difference. i found elephant.co.uk to be one of the cheapest, plus you can taylor your cover to your needs. compared them to Houghtons out o Z mag. Almost £200 cheaper a year. Elephant quoted me £445, 8000 miles car worth £8k. 34 years old + 6years no claims. Give them a try.
  21. Does anyone know where i can get a front splitter the same as that Paul Bailey use to sell? Or anyone selling one? Tried To insert a picture but couldn't [/img]
  22. Hi I am looking at increasing the power of my '93 Uk spec Z32 manual. just cannot decide what boost controller & dump valve setup to go for? Was thinking of going for Apexi twin chamber BOV kit plus a Greddy profec b boost controller (as i want it to be 1/4 DIN). But have heard that the HKS super sequential dump valve setup is the best. Is this really down to personal choice and they are all good or are there better options? i am looking at getting 400BHP, with help from other bits also. Can anyone help?
  23. Hi Can anyone advise an understanding car insurance company. i am looking at increasing the power of my Z to around 400BHP. boost controller de-cat, intercoolers, Z centre body kit. But many insurance companies do not want to know. who do you guys use, or explain to insurance. I have found that if you give them every detail, they do not want to know. concern if i dont give them all the details may not be covered. i tried Elephant.co.uk they came back with £600. Has anyone used livingstones from the Z mag?
  24. Thanks guys for your help so far. Ideally i would like to get to 400BHP. They did recommend replacing turbos. but i would prefer to use the stock turbos until they die. They are brand new!! Is there anywhere you could recommend for boosting power. Years ago there was Silvia engineering. But, i heard they are well exspensive. I want a proper job. But don't like donating to charities as well, for the same job.
  25. hi I own a UK spec 300ZXTT UK spec 1993. Unfortunately, i went through some flood water in the dark and sucked up into engine. SQUASH! One broken engine. Fortunately my car insurance covered the replacing of the engine & turbos. But, only with Nissan parts at Bob Juliers Nissan Dealership. Car has only done about 6,000 miles since. I am looking at increasing the power of my 300ZX. i currently have a Scarab exhaust (Z Centre) Plus a Stillen Air filter (which does not fit very well). I have spoken to a company called Hyper SR (http://www.hypersr.com) They recommended the following mods: HKS front mounted intercooler De-cat pipes Iridium plugs HKS EVC-5 Boost Controller HKS fuel cut defencer HKS super power flow air filter HKS super SQV dump valve Has anyone used these guys before? Were they any good? Is what they have recommended correct? Is there anyone else you would recommend to do the work instead? Any help i would appreciate. Regards Kev
