  1. booooo.... show us the naughty ones!!! I'll vote for her then. :hammer:
  2. :clap:woohoo:clap: i just passed 1000 posts.... i feel like i have popped my cherry or something. :nana2:
  3. She will be checking the Miss 300zx thread and will be gutted if i'm the only one who votes for her. I don't want to put any pressure on you but i will have my balls handed to me for putting her pics up and then for her not to get any votes. She doesn't need to win, but a few extra votes might just save my nuts!! pretty please....
  4. Just out of interest Ian - Why has your dad got all the other "naughty" or "best" pics of your missus which are on your laptop? :whistling::blushing::x:
  5. And if i remember rightly you said i was a cnut for wearing it....:lol:
  6. Looking really nice mate. Oh and it was nice to meet you at JAE over the weekend.
  7. Oh i dunno..... Kevin and Perry was pretty damned funny....
  8. Love this programme, all the kids i work with at the youth centre love it too. I can even pretend i'm watching it for research and understanding todays youth culture...
  9. Right seeing all the photos and posts going up i thought that i would post my own thoughts: Well the night before going my gearbox decided to pack up so i was gutted that i wouldn't be able to take her there, so the weekend started poorly, On top of that we got stuck in traffic on the way and ended up doing about 2 mph for some considerable time. My mate, me and his two teenage kids finally arrived and had a bit of a laugh trying to put up our tents in the windy conditions. We cracked open a few tinnies and went for a walk. I was still gutted that the car couldn't make it but wandering over to the 300zx area put a smile on my face again as i saw some old friends, met some new ones, and had the pleasure of looking at some lovely cars. The weekend went by with much fun had by all, many beers were drunk, many burgers were consumed, and i found myself on both nights still drinking with new friends at way past 4am. Chuck in 2000 other JAP cars, some a bit special, and some not so, loads of BAR B Q's some pretty decent weather and i would have to say that it was a great weekend all round. I do however have some suggestions and ideas which may compliment what was an already great weekend and i'm sure that others do too. But before any discussions are started about next years event i would like to say a big thank you to all those who helped make this years event so good. I'm thinking about Kim and Co. who really did put in loads of effort. So for my first car show as a member of a club, I have to say i really enjoyed myself guys, and i look forward to seeing you all again soon, either on here or in the real world. Peace :duffer:
  10. Not true dude, it depends on his settings, I am not a friend and just looked at them all.
  11. Click the link given. (you may have to sign into your account at this time) Underneath Yassa Jnrs name, you will see 2 tabs, "wall" and "info". Click on Wall and it will show you Dannys Wall - which informs of recent activity. Last post on his wall is JAE 2010 - either click on one of the photos, or as i prefer the actual words JAE 2010 - should bring up all the pics
  12. Mate I got there, but alas my car did not.... Good times had by all though. Abig thanks to all who put in loads of effort.
  13. I think you maybe mistaken there bud, I just had a look at all the photos and am not a friend. Just check the "wall" tab at the top and you will see...
  14. The yellow one was some dude who happened to be camping next to us i think - not a member of the club but came and parked his car there. It was a lovely example indeed.
  15. One of my all time favorites, I have an old scirocco, but these are like a scirocco on steroids. Stunning mate.
  16. Thanks guys..... Another newbie question: how do you flush the cooler lines?
  17. Thanks Jeff and others I think i am going to have to get a mate to tow me to the garage where he works and get them to drain the box. Does anybody have any pics or tips or MUST DOs or DON'T DOs that i can pass on to them so they give her the best chance of recovery. I'm gutted! I was so looking forward to getting her to JAE. :crying: She flew through the MOT last week now this! Most annoying.
  18. How hard to drain from the sump plug Paul? Do i need to get her on a ramp to do this? Cheers
  19. Just done a diagnostics check - no error code. Where do you fill the autobox from? and how do you drain it? cheers
  20. Just gonna do the autobox diagnostics check: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/autodiag/autodiag.html
  21. hmmm, i was thinking that myself, but i got an auto so the missus can drive it when I'm too pi**ed to drive home.
  22. What did you have to do to get yours repaired mate?
  23. I just drove back from golf this evening, and car was driving fine. I pulled over to speak to a mate, i put the car in D and when i pulled away she seemed to be revving quite high and not changing gears like normal (i have an auto.) Then all of a sudden it felt as if she slipped out of gear altogether and no matter how hard i revved no drive or power. (i didn't have to rev hard to work this out.) Pulled over turned the engine off. Started her again and she wouldn't select reverse, but did select D. so pulled off, a bit further down the road same again, out of gear - no power and revving. Pulled over again. Bonnet open, but not a lot to check - levels seem ok. Started again drove a bit same again. I repeated this a number of times till i got home (luckily i was just down the road) Has my box gone? what can i check? any quick fixes? Help me please as i was meant to be taking her to JAE tomorrow!!!
  24. Agreed, but i somehow got my weekend mixed up only to be reminded by the other half after work that i couldn't play golf this weekend cos i was at some car show in northampton! It was at this point that i went into the garage and started to re-stick the interior back panels that i thought i had over a week to do..
