Recovered door panel with a mod
Looks really good graham, much neater and tidier than before. The light is a nice touch too.

poss spoiler swap
I'm thinking i might stick a 99 spec straight onto my smooth one - something different.

poss spoiler swap
I like my smooth lip (looks better on a shorty to be honest), but i do think that the original spoiler was a great bit of design.

Speed Sensor...
Silly question, but have you checked your power steering fluid level?

carbon standard spoiler?
No bud yours is the original 89 spoiler..... Get this and wrap in my opinion if you want to go down the carbon fibre route. If weight saving is your aim and yours is the original as opposed to a copy then the fibre glass one will be sooo much lighter as the original spoiler is very heavy.

hicas an few other q's
I agree, check your power steering fluid. And the button on the side of the auto shifter: Hold: pulls off in 2nd gear (good for wet or icy conditions) and holds the box in higher gear for longer i believe so it wont change down so quickly if you put your foot down. Power: what it says on the tin. As an aside you also have an O/D button on the side of the auto gear stick you will feel quite a difference with it depressed or not, the box changes at higher rpm and she feels like a different beast.

carbon standard spoiler?
probably easier to wrap it to be honest - I've never heard of one being made in carbon fiber....

Speed Sensor...
Agreed, I had similar problems, insofar as I had a set of clocks which went up to 130mph - but it had a dry joint somewhere, and when the speedo didn't work and the needle dropped to zero, the HICAS light would come on and soon after the power steering would stop working. I got JeffTT to swap the clocks and the problem disappeared.

Guess who got a mention in Decembers Banzai Mag?
I think that the latter is probebly the most appropriate in this case.

Do it mate - we can look to do them at different locations every month or so, but I would suggest that you start the ball rolling round your neck of the woods.
