  1. 114.. not so good
  2. lol... good work
  3. I'm not that fussed, I used to love TopGear, but the last few years it has become shite.
  4. Check out the orange site as some are up for grabs.
  5. Yeah, nice cheap mod to replace the carrots, makes loads of difference. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CLEAR-SIDE-REPEATERS-NISSAN-300ZX-/400281415274?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5d32a1ae6a#ht_1665wt_1141 I think you are defo going about this the right way round, get her running properly then make her look pretty.
  6. Stunning mate, I love a zed in white, especially with a type III front lip. More pics please
  7. That is cheap as chips!! you got a steal, one thing that lets an OEM zed down is the size of the wheels. Shame really as i like the standard design, just need to be 18s. 19s with rubber for £250... deal of the day I reckon.
  8. Nice mate. Apart from your scooped nose panel, from the front and side, your car looks suspiciously like mine...... you've clearly got good taste  CarMad on here does some great skirts for the Zed and they really are needed if you've got aftermarket front and back. I hope you get the tubs sorted nice and easy. Oh and welcome to the club.
  9. Now I know Rob and he's a savy fellow, so i am sure that the decision was the right one, but having had the pleasure of seeing this car a couple of times in the flesh, I can only echo what those before have said with regards to how devastatingly beautiful the NSX is. Last time I saw this car was outside a very nice golf club parked up next to Astons, Jags and Porkers, and it just put them all to shame. Absolutely iconic bit of design, coupled with some awesome performance has made the NSX one of my all time favorites. I guess you have been getting all your kicks from snowboarding mate so need for a road rocket?
  10. Cool, keep us all posted for your next meet at longleat mate, nice spot for some pics!
  11. Looks like a cool meet mate, where is that house?
  12. Hey Ryan, I use a rotary polisher, there are those who prefer the DA polishers, but i like my rotary. I do like to finish off with a hand polish and all wax is applied by hand obviously. Check out the 2 threads i did with regards to polishing the zed and the scoob: http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?158674-So-much-dirtier-than-I-thought!!&highlight= http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?159004-And-now-for-the-Zed&highlight= Any more pics of that Ford? Black is the most satisfying colour to polish, but also the most annoying as it never stays clean for more than about a day or so!!
  13. Thanks guys, I just popped out to the petrol station.... £82 later..... Evo, thanks for the compliment, but i haven't polished her yet... that's how she came out the garage. Due to the hosepipe ban, I was just about to take her to a valet place near me to get her washed before i run the polisher over her, but instead I ended up using about £20 of the petrol i just put in blasting round some country roads..... I really need to pull my finger out, I have all the bits waiting to be installed and to be honest, I think that with a gentle drop and a nice subtle bootbuild she'll look even nicer... in my humble opinion, I just need to get onto it. Japfest was my deadline, now my deadline is JAE!!! I wasn't even gonna go to Japfest, but having blasted around today, I feel i should really make the effort, even if she's nowhere near how i want her to be. Oh and Graham, that "shed/skip" is an absolute lifesaver, I can get nearly 500 miles out of £100 worth of fuel!!! I think the most telling fact about how these cars get under your skin.... I had a choice of either getting rid of the Zed or cancelling my golf membership... put it this way my clubs are sitting forlornly in the corner of the downstairs loo!!
  14. I have got so many bits to do to the zed at the moment, New lower suspension, HiCAS lockout and new arms Rocker covers Boot build Interior swap Proper polish and detail following my silly use of the tailgate as a shelf! I did have this list weeks ago but following a weekend about a month or 2 ago where I stuck near on £100 in the car and she was empty by Tuesday morning she went back in the garage and hasn't moved since. I was genuinely losing my enthusiasm, looking at smaller cheaper toys on ebay and pistonheads to replace her..... HOWEVER, I just pulled her out the garage for a quick clean and a quick once over with the polisher to remove the scratches in the tailgate and looking back over my shoulder as i went back into the house, I think i have just fallen in love all over again..... well they do say that absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that!! What is it about these bloody cars that make you act against all logic and pragmatism?
  15. Looks cool man..... That tree has gotta piss you off!
  16. Hello mate, any pics of your new toy?
  17. Woah!!! over 1200 hrs work! serious dedication
  18. love it... retro cool, and i really love the numberplate.
  19. Not like Ian... he's usually always on here. I am meant to be popping over to his this weekend, i guess i had better try and contact him too. I'll keep you posted if i get hold of him Jim.
  20. Well, big boys toys are better than little boys toys mate.
