Yo yo! all you lovely Zedheads! It seems like forever since I have been here and it is nice to see a few old names still online at silly o'clock in the morning.. :sleep1: Sadly i have someone coming round this weekend to look at my car and I fear i will never drive my Zed again :crying: I am genuinely sad... However.. it does free up the garage for a new jap toy which i have my eyes on... So i can still come to japfest and be subject to all the schoolyard sing song bullying while you lightweights try and keep up :punk:.... can you say.. peado peado, peado bear etc etc.... :wacko: I can say hand on heart that I will one day have another Zed in my life.. as we all know they have that funny pull that you cannot deny. For those of you who don't know me.. here's a few pics to prove that I was once part of your gang:

I have to agree with Pete here.... they do look a bit naff in my humble opinion... I just don't get the whole Bride thing... personally I think that all Bride stuff looks naff and really dated with that graded grey thing going on... I have very little knowledge of Bride and I have no idea why their stuff commands such high prices (if these were real then i would guess they would be a lot more than the listed price) but I am not a fan personally. However I think that if you like them, then for 15 quid it might be worth a punt .. you may have to back the bits that you cut holes in though so as to reduce fraying etc.. but easily done i would imagine.

Alas, I am not really free at all this weekend... I might possibly be able to sneak out on Sunday night for a few drinks.... I have a match in the morning then christmas tree duty in the afternoon/evening... but I would make the effort if i knew people were going to be there.

Mate that car is in too good a condition to make it into a track car... how bout a nice fat LWB TT? I'm just looking at some cheap hot hatches at the moment... OK so does anyone have any possible dates for this meet? So far someone has said after Crimbo would be better... any suggestions people?

Hello mate.. tell me about it.. I miss swinging the old sticks.. I am looking to sell the zed as soon as possible really.. I just don't use her... bout 500 miles since her last MOT :( How is the MR2 treating you? And when are we gonna hook up for a beer? or indeed a round of Golf?

mine is just sat in the garage.. as she has been for the last few months.... MOT'd.... Taxed.. with more spare parts than i care to mention.. all stacked neatly on the shelves...

I absolutely think that we should have a christmas meet. The Red Lyon was a decent pub, with nice food. I for one would be keen to see you guys again... but time is ticking by....

I too love the pop up lights on the old NSX, same with the GTO... I prefer the pre-facelift models. Rob, I'm not playing that much golf at the moment as I had to pack in my membership... hard choice really as it was either the Zed or the Golf..... As the weather gets nicer I am getting more and more concerned with my choice!! I am however enjoying the golf I am playing as now it feels that it is a bit of a special occasion, rather than a standard twice a week thing. I just got back from a weekend away at Tracey Park... great bunch of lads and some nice courses... but very very wet! I would love to hook up for a game bud. Hit me up sometime, I would love to play Mill Ride again.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments. When I washed her today i realised how badly she needs a proper going over .. like a whole full weekends worth of love. I have been using her this last week as a daily driver just to feel the love again and to get a bit of enthusiasm back. I do love her, every time i walk up to her in a car park or in the street, I am reminded how much i love her, but having stuck 90 odd quid in the tank last Saturday, I just put another £75 in her today... I think after this weekend, she will be going back to being my weekend toy..... even if it is at the expense of my golf membership. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Well I managed to give her a quick wash and polish today. No time to do the interior or anything but such is life. Alas she will be filthy again by the time i get to Castle Combe, but such is life! Anyway, couple of pics:
