  1. Bloody hell that's got to the worlds smallest fan I have ever seen on a RR setup!  Epic noise though, wonder what truck those turbo's were off of? lol
  2. A smll lst at the moment, sure to grow though :cool3: Was a fair bit longer but have been busy :hammer: Greddy SMIC's 555 injectors + chip Short shifter Z Central pod and 3x defi BF gauges
  3. Any more takers from the Avon/Somerset area? Weather is supposed to be good, so a good excuse for a run out with the roof off! After the RR session we will be going to the pub just down th e road for a beer or 2, hope to see you there. Howard
  4. Any takers from the SE? Weather is supposed to be good, so a good excuse for a run out with the roof off! After the RR session we will be going to the pub just down th e road for a beer or 2, hope to see you there. Howard
  5. Cheers Graham, I had all the mirror/bracket off the other night as I need to repaint the "triangular" fixing plate (long story). I didn't wan to remove the door panel if the connection wasn't behind it. Is the removal of the door panel a quick job? H.
  6. Guys I am removing my wing mirrors later today, is there a join in the electrical supply in the door panel that I can disconnect, or does it go furhter back under the dash? cheerz H.
  7. :thumbup1: I have been after 1 of these, did you get it off ebay? there was a seller who had 1/2 left, not cheap though £500ish? H
  8. easy Si lol, they are the only pictures I could find quickly of the wrapping, form the company who we buy our material from. If i went down that route it would be a "sensible" solid colour like red. H
  9. Yes, I know what you mean about the "looks" 2 different look for sure. Wheels are 18's and already lowered -30 front -40mm rear will not go much lower as I already have "issues"coukld go with further arch work I suppose.
  10. yes don't care much for the vents either, but a respray is further down the list of mods as yet. Although I am considering wrapping the Zed until I can do the respray. Plenty of standard solid colours to choose from, there is even a colour red that a very good match to the original Nissan red. http://www.hexis.co.uk/whatsnew/HX/HX30000%20Advert%20&%20Prices.pdf
  11. lol, that would be me as well
  12. Just think that the silver looks a bit "dated" somehow, or should I say a bit to "contemporary" for a Zed. H
  13. Thanks Si, had forgotten all about shadow chrome. Nearly had a set of wheels done for my TVR this colour a few years ago.....hmmnn decisions decisions.
  14. Hi guys, I am thinking of changing the centre section (spokes) from silver to black, leaving the bolts silver and the outer dish as it is... Wheels are due a refurb just not sure which way to go. This pic, wheel wise etc is what I was hoping to achieve. T bar sections are being painted black, along with wing mirrors.... What do you think leave it alone or go for it? H.
  15. ^^^fitted these to my car recently along with a few other parts from MiesterR. Very well made IMO
  16. Just saw these, originally cost £2400! on ebay now http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/nissan-300zx-real-carbon-fibre-doors-swb-1989-onwards-/150441450446?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2307025bce (Items nothing to do with me, just thought someone on here might be interested?) Must be the perfect way to loose several kgs for all you interested in weight reduction. A hefty price tag but unique none the less. H.
  17. cheers didn't know that :blushing: still from reading all the related threads both UK & US it looks unlikley to happen very quickly which is a shame as it look much much better than most aftermarket panels
  18. It's a shame that they decided to make the first one for the smaller market SWB. Am sure they would have had twice as many sales for the larger market. IF they ever got round to doing the LWB version then I'm still stuffed as I need one for a wide arch, although would consider bying a standard LWB & customising it to fit a WArch
  19. bump (well it's a sticky so perhaps not) :whistling:
  20. great resource! book marked!
  21. :happybday: Happy Birthday :happybday:
  22. Dude 4 years, got to hand it to you for sticking with it and not going out and getting a big loan to finish it.
  23. thanks for the info :punk:
  24. Looked at 928's before buying the Zed last year. Very nice motors, far more interesting than the 911s IMO. As I am sure you are aware they are if not more complicated on the electrical side of things than the Zed. Although there is slightly more room in the engine bay to get things done yourself. I still have a book "The Essential Buyers Guide Porsche 928" by David Hemmings in excellent condition.(See Amazon) Yours for a few beer tokens if you like? Great resource, and worth calling this guy Paul, if you end up looking for one. What he doesn't know about 928's isn't worth knowing. He may even know of a customer thats looking to sell. http://www.928.org.uk/buying.html Just be prepared for bigger bills than the Zed if it goes wrong. Or as an owner said to me if you're going into 928 ownership it's best to buy 2 so you have 1 for spares! hth H.
