  1. Yassa, I was looking at refurbing my split rims and spoke with Image wheels who originally supplied them. They charge (about £80 if I remeber correctly)per wheel maybe give them a call if this price seems reasonable to you? http://www.imagewheels.co.uk. H.
  2. Hi have a look at http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk plenty of friendly information on there. I had a black RS6 and used to use a wax called "Collinite" it was recommended by the company who previously used to valet/clean the car. The wax is extremly durable and 2 coats applied after claying/polishing the car used to last through the winter months. The wax is available in a special format for black cars as well. Be carefull once you look at the website you may find it hard not to go on a spending spree! I invested in a orbital polisher and now clay the cars twice a year and polish then wax, the polisher takes alot of effort out of the process but make sure you know what you're doing with it as you could damage the paint finish. Always use the 2 bucket method for cleaning you P&J and decent cleaning products (no sponges)...... oh yes bin the Megs, I used to use that stuff and there are much better products for the same money available. Be sure to post up pics when you pick the car up. H.
  3. Well after 15 mins upside down it's done, thanks very much for the links to the relay supplier and the diagram for the relay work-around. :duffer: Just need to fit the resistors now for all the other lights and will have LED,s all round. H
  4. Cheers MMan / Sean, looks like more upside down fun in the footwell then. :hurl: H
  5. Cheers for this Gerry, will completing mine in hte next few days. Because I am a lazy b@steward where abouts is the flasher relay located? H
  6. Not wrong about the price 35800 yen = £252.70  thats before shippping and import duty! Not so sure I want them that much. It might be easier to find a led unit from a merc, toyota whatever that we could use then see how much Car Mad would want for knocking a a prototype/mould fabricating the finished item? The biggest problem I can see is finding a LED unit that roughly matches the curvature of the standard Zed housing. H
  7. I've changed my front indicators to LEDs no problem, just waiting for the amber 501's side indicators bulbs and the rear set to come this week. Will post up the outcome when done. H.
  8. (Sorry to hj the thread) Perhaps we could tempt them with a group buy and get the price down? H.
  9. Seem to remember another thread about those mirrors think they were called Sap or Saf I'm sure FunkySi mentioned the name? H

  14. Dan, I have a relay that I bought from Zcentre that you wire into the standard loom to make the inner brake lights light up when you push the rear fog button. Hope that makes sense, will post to you for a :duffer: if you want? As I found out my car already had a gizmo in place to active the same inner brakes lights :slap: so Zcentre is going spare. H

  23. Have searched through many old threads, but nothing conclusive on this guys would I be right in assuming that if I get a pair off a JDM I could retrofit the the motor etc. onto my UK car housing? Any one done this? Need to get it done as its a pia manually moving the mirrors everytime I put her into the garage. H
  24. I made a set of these a couple of weeks back, makes life much easier to get the car in the air and then start at it with the trolley jack axle stands. H
