Turn the power of at the mains, hold down the back up button on the box and turn the mains back on. Wait and all the light on the front will come on. Leave it for 20 mins See of that helps. also when you unplug a sky box from the mains then plug it back in it will do a self test can take up to 2 mins. would not bother keep pressing the remote. And for the the noise its the crap hard drives in them. Easy fix but a new hard drive undo the sky+ box and fit new hard drive. Takes 5 mins. Hope this all helps.

Autobox is very easy to swap over. But 1st i would drain the oil then take the all pan off and clean the filter. Then put new oil back it. Some one will put up a link soon of how you do it..

I have someone put one in with the gearbox on. Cant see why you cant remove it with a gearbox on. think you have to drop the bottom of the car down a bit..

My other half has a honda jazz and I put an uprated bumper with fogs on, Every thing was there easy job. I would say just have a look see if you can find some loose wires..
