  1. Just ring them and see what they suggest.
  2. I think you would have to apply to Highways Dept for Bournemouth City Council.
  3. The police have qualified vehicle examiners and they will go through the car with a fine tooth comb and will find any problems which could have contributed to the crash annd more importantly if the accelerator stuck.
  4. TBH if the accelerator didn't stick and you genuinely fooked up, far better to come clean sooner rather than later, from your original post it does seem as though you overtook in the wrong place and are looking for a get out of jail card, pardon the pun.
  5. It's a sun lounger for sunbathing in tropical Wales!
  6. Correction, he is glad he got you out of most of them. Great turnout though, sorry I didn't stay for food, had to get back to the boy!
  7. That belongs to g60cc (I think I got his screen name right...)
  8. Royal, so my understanding is that the mirror was already broken and your wife merely knocked it off? I would say that technically then there has been no road traffic accident in the eyes of the law as she has caused no damage and if that is the case she did not have a legal requirement to exchange details so he doesn't seem justified in producing a warrant card. I would consider reporting the incident and complain to an Inspector at the police station.

Apparently Gaz is leaving our ranks and joining the Suzuki Vitara Owners Club!

What an angel, thought it was going to be a boy? See you later today...hopefully

Any signs of the baby yet?

That's put the kybosh on it!:x:
  13. I don't think we need it, it can encourage whoring, resulting in some totally useless posts. If a member really is interested in their post count they can check inn their profile! Alternatively for extra funds for the club, if a member really wants their post count they could pay a small premium?
  14. Guidelines for Europe are to use at least 95 RON. 91 can be used temporalily but under the following precautions. Have tank only partly filled with 91 and fill up with 95+ asap. Avoid full throttle driving and abrupt acceleration. This is taken from UK handbook however J Spec may be different still.
  15. Had a look in the handbook, can't find a symbol as you have described. Can you get a picture of it?
  16. Gut feelings and some of the cars were dogs and what they offered to do for me, ie change gearbox and knock money off.
  17. I have visited both dealers and didn't like either.
  18. IIRC it is not advisable to use anything other than the Optimax type fuels on Z's, or any performance engine and at the end of the day it may cost more but it is slightly more economical annd so probably balances itself out...

As long as you don't park on the ones that cross! You tend to end up with sacrificial goats blood on your car!
  20. I almost want to go outside and try mine now annd remove the negative terminal. Rodders - get one, not blingy blingy if you know what I mean, but does look nice under the hood, however even if it didn't trigger the bling fever it might start off the colour theme desires under there!
  21. That sounds great, very good to see that you are doing your best.
  22. That seems like a good price already, let alone you doing an offer on it!
  23. Vini, I would say that the systems work out no more expensive than buying the various elements separate, ie DVD player, screen, CD autochanger, head unit... and you have the bonus that technically they can be upgraded like a home PC!
  24. AlFo, don't take this the wrong way but do you live on the Scotlands? I only ask because of your speed bump post!
