I actually called Three and everytime I got a foreign call centre and found there English is limited and the understanding worse, the amount of times I had to repeat myself was ridiculous. I subsequently terminated my monthly mobile phone contract with them and gave them that reason in an email. They didn't really give an explanation, ie it saves us money and we can still continue to charge the same for services but we all know that is the truth. I HATE FOREIGN CALL CENTRES!!!

What you should have done is produced your D/L, insurance and MOT at police station within 7 days of having ticket. They would then seize your D/L and fill in a receipt from the endorsable fixed penalty and that would count as your D/L until your original came back with points endorsed on it. However you can't find your D/L. Get yourself down there with insurance and MOT and they should still record your details on a HO/RT2 form but they will report you for failing to produce your documents and not having a D/L. Sounds bad, also I would try and speak to the police officer involved and explain to them, don't hold your breath but they are not all the same. With regards to not producing / surrending D/L - the police will check with DVLA regarding your licence. I would say though you may well be summsonsed to court. This would be for failing to produce documents and the original offence of stopping on zig-zag (Stopping in pedestrian controlled zone) and the £60 fine will probably go up 50% and court costs. My advice is reapply for a D/L asap and then you may have it for court where you can surrender it there and explain your circumstances. A couple of questions, did the police officer say YOU WILL BE REPORTED FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF THE QUESTION OF PROESCUTING YOU FOR STOPPING ON ZIGZAGS and YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING BUT IT MAY HARM YOUR DEFENCE IF YOU DO NOT MENTION WHEN QUESTIONED SOMETHING WHICH YOU RELY ON IN COURT, ANYTHING YOU DO SAY MAY BE GIVEN IN EVIDENCE or words to that effect? How many police officers were there? Finally if they did not NIP and CAUTION you (the capitals above) then it wouldn't have been lawful but they have still probably got it in the pocket note books and statements. If there was only one officer it would be worth arguing with the help of a solicitor but if there were two then I would say I know who the magistrates are likely to believe. A lot to get your head round but hope it helps.

Anyone going to this? Not for Z's but a whole range of modified motors.

Not cheap about £600 all together. It appears that a further motor is needed drivers door for the remote locking and a small fee to remove existing system. However I have put it on a finance scheme, it increases overall cost but that was a means to an end.

The fitter attended my house today and fitted the new alarm system. I have a paid a little extra for window closer but how cool. It also has intellistart which means I can start her up without getting in and that way I can probably negate the need for a turbo timer. Although for £50 cash, the fitter would fit a turbo timer.

As far as I am aware you will have to retract your bid. I am assuming you entered a highest maximum bid and that has yet to be reached? As a result when someone else bids you automatically outbid them by a small amount until you reach your predetermined maximum.

I've just noticed the picture is on there.

I reported him several months ago he was trying to sell a three piece bodykit, he only had a picture of a picture of the kit. I asked why and he said he couldn't get a real picture because the kit was on a car or something like that!!!? I think he is a nigerian scam.

And I only have spacers on the rears and I have had no problems.

I have 235/40/18 on the front and 265/35/18 on the rear.

Nissan - not ones first choice for work on our Z's but they have said minimum cost to service aircon is £85 but were not prepared to give a price on full replacement! (Salisbury) and waiting for a West Midlands dealer to come back to me.

Front set, more in keeping with original five spoke design and they have the rims.

How much did it all cost? The cost is the big factor, if it sounds reasonable i'll budget for it otherwise i'll do something else.

One thing I'm considering is having the Z delocked and the handles removed and getting it to pop open on reote fob. Anyone any ideas on who will do it and what it might cost?
