I wouldn't have thought you would be able to get much compensation even if you were entitled to it. The shop appear to have a duty of care to the "roadworthiness" but they could alsso argue that your little jump was misuse regardless of whether or not it was. Just my thoughts.

Well unless you want the local nursery to paint it then £1k wont paint all your car. Wheels, see if you can get them refurbished? Cambelt essential with no history and then the other mods previously mentioned by others.

I like it, it has Aston Martin undertones. I can understand though it is a love or hate it design.

I use Rain X, it's about half the price but can't say if it's better or worse but I love driving in the rain with no wipers and watch the water beads run up the screen. it's fascinating and also probably very dangerous!!!
