There is a driver improvement scheme that some local authorities offer as an alternative to points but these tend to be an alternative for due care offences to the best of my knowledge. However they do cost about £180.

What road markings were there? If it is a Gatso there will be a series of lines leading away from it on the road in the road's direction of travel. If it is a Truvelo there will be three white lines together about 3-4 metres from it. Gatso takes picture from behind and Truvelo takes picture of the front. It is possible to activate the Gatso from the opposite direction but although there may be white lines on the road, it is not calibrated for oncoming traffic, I don't know if you can activate a Truvelo going away from it. A Gatso has a rectangle lense whereas the Truvelo has two round lenses. Regardless of that if you don't hear anything within 14 days there will be no fine or points.

I couldn't agree more. Regardless of repair just say it's shite and you want a replacement!

I was driving home today and a gay in a Poopra, I mean a guy in a Supra waved at me? I also noticed his head dropped forward and then I realised he wasn't waving he was :bow: :hyper:

Suprisingly I think I may have moved my oil cooler by nno more than 2mm towards the passenger side. What I do like as I play more is that with the auto you have so much more control over when they go off. I don't think it is going to do my fuel economy any good for the short term until the novelty wears off - if it ever does!

I can get to the one on the passenger side through the bumper but as I have a UK Auto there is a lot of pipework and other bits, that I have know idea what they are, that get in the way on the drivers side so I had to mount it vertically.

What adhesive do people recommend for sticking vinyl trim and where do they get it from and what sort of prices are people paying for it? Furthermore would anyone recommend a different adhesive if I use leather instead of vinyl? Thanks!

Yeah, sounds like same man I saw. Didn't see passenger side. I was a little miffed, he didn't wave and how often do you see several Z's drive past you!?

Did he have a beard or long hair? The reason I ask is that when we met up in B'mouth I saw one when I was driving home by some shops but I don't quite know where I was although you were still behhind me or in front. My memory is not what it was! :headvswal
