Wheels F/R & Off Set
Can't remember who this belongs to, but it looks like 17's to me.

Wheels F/R & Off Set
Any pics of these we can look at, or a link to manufacturer website? Mine are actually 6 spoke, but the pics don't show that very well. They're basically Rota copies of Rays TE-37's without the TE-37 price tag.

Wheels F/R & Off Set
Here we go, remembered to go outside and take some pictures today. The wheels are 18" Rota Grid, 9.5" wide with an offset of +20 front and rear. Front tyres are Falken 452 in 255/35/18 and the Rear are 265/35/18. Sitting on MeisterR coilovers. There is no rubbing on the front arch liners lock to lock. Last picture shows the standard rear arms adjusted to their maximum negative camber. As I mentioned in a previous post, the tyres would rub the lips on the inside of the rear arches before I rolled them up inside. Nothing about the front has had any modfication or adjustment.

Wheels F/R & Off Set
I have 9.5" front and rear with +20 offset. Fronts were no problem, rear arches just needed the lip rolling up inside so I could lower. Can provide pics if needed.

Tinting Rear Centre Panel
Why not just take out the reverse light lenses, tint them and stick them back in.

kitties
I'm sure we've been over this before in another thread. There's no possible way that the back pressure in the exhaust system would be keeping however many PSI of oil back behind their seals. If somebody notices a bit of oil smoke after a decat, it's becuase the seals were already ****ed but the cats were hiding the worst of it.

How to restore a damaged Steering Wheel?
I'm going to have a go at this over the weekend. I hope mine comes out looking as good, it's in a pretty sorry state.

cycle rack UPDATED
The Z is not a normal shaped hatchback. While the rack might physically fit on the back, I think you'd have trouble securing it safely.

I don't envy your friend.- Tyres
- tyre strech
I have 265/35/18 9.5J Rear and 255/35/18 9.5J Front. Sidewalls on the back are straight, and there's a little bit of stretch on the front. Now picture a 225 on a rim that'll stretch a 255. I'd rethink your options a bit, especially for the back.- nice colour (suprised mikey bean hasn't bought it)
Wow, I wonder what year this won the Spares or Repair show. I hear that's quite a prestigious award!- Arch Roller
Anybody in or around the Bristol area have an Arch Roller I can borrow for a weekend?- What Color should I paint my brakes?
Have a look here for complementary colour ideas.- Number plate bulb holders
Did we have a thread somewhere about parts that were compatible/identical to 300ZX's? I think a cross reference chart would be handy for this sort of thing.- improving brakes on a budget
I would throw in an upgrade to braided lines while you have the calipers off for a refurb/rebuild. Definately on my to-do list.- Exhaust 2.5'' inch ??
2.5" would be more than adequate. 3" would probably do all 6 cylinders just fine on an unmodded engine.- Tyre Pressure
From what I remember, the guy airing them up said he was putting 35psi in them. Though I was busy watching the other fitter like a hawk as he fitted the tyres to the remaining rims.- Tyre Pressure
I have new wheels, therefore I have new tyres, therefore I'm not sure what pressure should be in them. Front 255/35/18 Rear 265/35/18 Which are on a 2+2. What say ye?- this a good sleeper? not for me
Wondering how someone can refer to a Skyline as a "sleeper" in any guise.- Will these spacers fit?
WillTheyFit.com- Keep cats or replace
As far as I understand, back pressure is only required for two stroke engines to prevent the unburnt fuel/air mixture from passing straight through the combustion chamber into the exhaust. As all engines we'd be concerned with are four stroke, by the time anything is in the exhaust it's considred waste and should be expelled with as little resistance as possible. Besides! we have practically THE most restrictive component possible in our exhaust system....a turbo.- Fly Eyes
After suggesting this stuff in this thread I thought I might post a few pics of my handywork. Before I started. Step one was to take all the lights (except headlights) out and give them a good scrub before going at them with the kit. A few comparisons for your delectation. How it looks from a short distance. The finished product. Headlights were done in situ. - Started the sills.....
