i know that UPS do a value of goods service. so you don't have to pay till it all arrives. might be a little pricey. but it does save the worry of sending money

Best thing for you to do is check the packaging for damage, if thats damaged then keep it cause the courier will ask to see it so they can send it off for damage inspection. That should give you the right to claim for damaged in transit or the couriers will claim from the senders for insufficiant packing. The reason i know this is cause i work for UPS :x: an yes i have heard all the jokes :rolleyes: But really, more often than not the senders are to blaim as they use some real sh+tty packing.....if any

i work for U.P.S. an they often say that we should have our lights on most the time so as to draw more attention to your self. as if we need that in a brown van. they even take off the reverse beeper an make us use the horn, not a bad thing as now most ppl pay not attention to the beeper's

before you do ship glass make sure that they insure it because i know a lot of carriers dont.i work for UPS an i know they do but it is pricey also careful on having stuff shipped from abroad as customs can charge for the stupidest of mistakes on the sender's behalf

i have a jap tt and on the bumper it has this thing that looks like it could be an areial, when i bought it the bloke said he thinks it was something to do with sat nav but now i aint so sure, there is a button on the centre consol that when pushed it makes the areial thing whirr an thats it. any idea's on what it is? :confused:

i've just done with carol nash, £321 fully comp on an import tt, its on a classic so only 6000 miles but i dont use it that much, also got windscreen, breakdown and £100 excess, 28 with 9 years ncb 3 points but driving for a living does help ;)

i got a clip of a busa turbo doing a 320khm in silly times, i cant put it up yet but well worth the search even to se the speed he gets the front wheel down at. i know bikes are fast but christ what where they thinking when they made that machine :bow:
