having a working clutch!-as y'all know this has caused some head scratching! :o -but thanks to Pete and another slave cylinder I managed to get enough clearance on the release arm to get gears :hyper: then set about sorting the cooling out,as after the little voyage on Thursday it was spitting water out of the top overflow.I put this down to an air lock and refilled the system carefully!-and fingers crossed,when setting up the carb,the fan kicked in,went off and could bear my hand on the rad,so she aint' overheating! Now for another little run :D -whipped down to boldy's and first thing that is apparent is the gearing,seems very low.Engine pick-up is instant and has the rear scrabbling but top end is gonna suffer-great for the track tho'! :D Next job will be to cut the bonnet up :eek: and make a bulge of sorts to fit an air filter but at least I can get it to the MOT and put some miles on it! Oh! and as if by magic the speedo jumped into life and doesn't seem a mile out but will check with the GPS-and did I mention the noise............ :bow:

Decided to give the z a run to the garage and back to put some fuel in and see if she drove ok. Well fook me if I couldn't even back out the garage cos' the B*****d clutch aint clearing again! :rant: After pumping it like a maniac I just managed to snick reverse and away we went!-second noticeable thing-the engine runs like a sack o' shite(needs setting up) but on the whole it drove well and sounds like thunder! Got her back home and stuck it back on the lift to investigate and found fluid leaking out the p/rod boot!-so that's fooked before I start :headvswal Need a TT Slave cylinder-like yesterday! :o :(

How much of a hurry are you in?-most places will have to order bud!

No aint' got the install disc mate,just a recovery disc that came with it! :( Just gone into bios and in the main screen it says the hard disc is disabled or is not present!?-does that sound right? :headvswal

When it's switched on,you get a screnn saying sorry for the inconveniance etc....and options to boot in safe mode,last known etc,but won't boot in any of em'!-just swithes off and trys to re-boot and the same thing happens again! :confused:

Right all computer guys,need a bit of help with the wifes laptop! Basically the thing won't boot up!-she hasn't added any h/ware etc and the last time she used it -it was fine! :confused: Had a little play tonight,but I aint no 'puter bod!-got to a screen with the recovery cd (Windows XP) and says choose a partition-the one that is loaded is showing 280 odd Mb-is this right?-cos it just seems a little small to me? When I tried another partition it says it's too small for the install and requires 1100 odd Mb??!!-errr...I'm lost! :(

idle air valve mate, but know by other names!-Try as advised first bud and give it a clean but really should be 'sonic' cleaned by a specialist. Obviously best bet is to try another one-good luck! ;)

What worries about that estimate bud is the fact you said the t/gate won't open?-there is no mention of rear panel on there either repair or replace?? or is it in with the labour? If so I take it there gonna whack it out! :D -good luck mate! ;)
