  5. Do you mean the one by the front of the car or the one near the brake fluid pot? coz Ive not checked the one by the pot! and checked all the little fuses in the front main box CheerZ
  6. Ok, I thought I would start a new thread as I`m still having a problem with my lights. so.... my headlights are just switching to full beam and I`ve got no sidelights.. I`ve checked all the footwell fuses(all ok now) and I`ve swapped all the relays over from my (working)TT and its still the same :helpsmilie: So my question is where should i start looking now? i assume its an earth fault so where do the wires run that i need to check?, over the last few months i have moved my under bonnet main fuse box and done it properly and soldered and shrunk wrapped the cables that needed cutting and recently i`ve fitted a new stereo. so could any of these have made the problem? any help is appreciated as i cant use my car at night :scared: CheerZ Daz.

  18. I was the same as you mate, I thought what is the point of polishing under the bonnet? (a bit like my girlfriend is thinking at the moment)lol, but you do eventually catch the bug!! I spend all my spare time washing/polishing the exterior and I just `clicked` one day an thought stuff it "winter project"!!! and to be honest `yes` its very hard work but doesnt actually cost that much to make it look like that! and i reckon puts a few quid on the resale value if it was ever to be sold on!! And hats off to Groover as that is one beautiful plenum bud, one of the best out there mate along with Andys, well done:thumbup1:

Just a few pics from today with the sun out, my bonnet is back on with the underside all freshly painted in black with chrome fleck to match the engine bay theme, it looks as if it has bits all over it but its the fleck reflecting in the sun, looks nice in the flesh (honest), I`m still waiting for my chrome rad cover to turn up and some fancy bolts and washers and then shes done!! had a massive drive today, done about 100 miles with the lid off , my head was a bit cold but i couldnt wait any longer, hope you like :cool3:
