  10. Just an update on a past thread.Took the motor in today to "Chipsaway" in Shrewsbury and fair play in about an hour the two dents were gone and door back to normal.I know £90 + vat sounds high, but well chuffed to have it back to normal in so little time.Could only describe the bloke as a magician.(Lot cheaper than a body shop).Don't know if all Chipsaway operators are as good as Keith,as he had got 26 years experience in this type of work.
  11. (No worries) which ever you choose you know it will still look mighty fine.
  12. Lovely bit of kit Sgt C. Looks like you keep your motor looking as good on the inside as you do on the outside.Whats the damage on one of them kits £?
  13. Yeh Ive just had a new unit fitted & had to buy one of them .I managed to get it for £11.99.Plug it in & away to go.
  14. Don't know about your tailgate ( don't envy you the job) When I removed the film from the doors glass it more or less came off in one piece but the adhesive was a terrible job.I ended up using white spirit to try to loosen it then using a brand new stanley blade to avoid scratching the glass.Hope you find an easier way.Good look!
  15. Cheers Mate , Yeh ,sooner its done the better!
  16. Cheers Paul, Do you know if it is quite reasonable compared to bodyshop repairs?(No creasing thankfully)
  17. Hi All, Some gormless BAST**D has managed to nudge my drivers door in a car park ,not damaged paint but cant live with the 2 small dents.Has anyone ever had any experience with these paintless dent removal companies?Cheers
  18. Cheers for that Markzx. In your opinion whats the best way to go for power & sound with least complications ? (With least damage to wallet).Thanks.
  19. Yes filter for each side + all pipes & fittings etc.
  20. Just been looking at the dual air induction kit on ebay.Looks a nice bit of kit ,question I've got has anyone bought & fitted one (would be grateful for any feedback). If fitting one of these with the 2 filters will I have to make any adjustments? .Will the kit mentioned alter sound of car noticably when drawing air?Any advise on induction appreciated.
  21. Thanks for your feedback stevemochan about you fitting the pipes. I had a water leak and guess what it was ,a 4" piece of pipe located right above the gearbox .What a bloody job just to replace a small piece of pipe.So took box out replaced clutch while apart (big thankyou to Luke at Zcentre for quick delivery)and decided to decat while under there.Glad I put the short sections that fit directly onto the turbos on before replacing the gearbox because it would have been a BAST**D of a job to say the least.Well chuffed now, running as sweet as a nut and I can only agree with stevemochan the pipes were well worth fitting.(Brilliant finish quality, fit, noticable response & tone.100% satisfied.Just wish I was rich enough to have someone to do the work.
  22. Thanks 4 all the feedback ,just got to snatch a bargain now !
  23. Hi All. Thinking of decatting my motor & theirs some pipes on ebay ,can anyone tell me if the front pipes are the same on the swb as the 2+2 .Is the the extra 8 inches made up in the rear pipes?Cheers.
