looks like a trip to the docs
I'm a Type 1, found out about 6 years ago. Fit as a lop, about 13 stone. At the time I was pissing for England, drinking loads of water, and was losing weight like an anorexic Jew in Auschwitz.

Any Web designers on here?
I've had enough of sales and am thinking of starting a career in Web design. either Employed or S/E. I'm thinking of completing a CIW course (anyone know if these are worth it) Appreciate any pointers from bods in the industry. :helpsmilie:

Motorbike fans?
I'll throw my hat in the ring with DAS as well. Been on them for 15 years. Don't jump on something with silly power straight away, but a 125 will have you bored within the week. A good starting bike on a budget would be a baby blade or something similar. CBR/VFR/ZXR 400....I've had them all and even wrote a review on the ZXR for a mag. Linky.......... http://www.usedbikeguide.com/reviews/kawasaki3.htm

What sort of riding style are you after? chop like the dragstar, sporty, or something inbetween. also an idea of budget would be good

My mate went to court today, 63mph in a 30!!
The copper who caught me said it was force policy to issue a ban, however it is ultimately down to his discretion. I've always found the best course of action on getting pulled is to put your hands up, say it's a fair cop and avoid the bullshit excuses, and clever little cop outs

Have car manufacturers created a rod for their own back
http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Business/Toyota-Recall-Woe-Deepens-For-Car-Maker-After-US-Government-Demands-Evidence-Recall-Was-Quick-Enough/Article/201002315550884?lpos=Business_Carousel_Region_2&lid=ARTICLE_15550884_Toyota_Recall_Woe_Deepens_For_Car_Maker_After_US_Government_Demands_Evidence_Recall_Was_Quick_Enough Today's modern cars are relying more and more on electronic "fly by wire" systems and driver aids that it is inevitable that something will go wrong. And judging by the need to fit an override system in case the driver hits both the accelerator pedal and the brake at the same time, shows that peoples ability to drive is slowly diminishing. 10 years ago if I was stupid enough to hit both pedals, it would be my fault.....period, end of.... Now however it seems it is now the cars fault, combine this with the research into the car being able to navigate and drive it's self leads to a scary future where no one takes responsibility for errors made, and in fact most of our driving skills will be lost. So next time after a kid is killed on the roads by an out of control car. maybe we will see Toyota in court and not the driver. Worrying if you ask me.
