ah alright thanks for explaining mate ,was surprised as your spec seems to be 500 + when in full potential. im going to give it a go and see what i get from it , i know theres so much things i could change to get more bhp but tbh i dont want to go down the route of changing piece by piece to aftermarket i know i dont have to do it to get the result i want. my engine is running quite strongly which tbh is quite because of the last owner of this engine , he had receipts of quite alot of money spent on it. i want to simplify things in a way without going £ crazy but i also want a good reliable engine. and thankfully im a mechanic and wont need to spend any money in labour , over 30 years of the profession so at least i know the engine wont blow up ( i hope lol !) . thanks everyone for their help, this club is def the best :D

shrek just seen your spec its very good and similar with what i want with mine, not meaning to sound stupid but whats a run in map? thats seems a bit low'ish for your spec?but then again if you upped to 20 psi im not sure what you'd get so sorry if i sound a bit dumb atm lol. mikey i also think you can get 400 bhp for a stand tub .. its been done quite often. i think with 555 injectors and chip you'd get it imo.

the brakes is definately a must for the zx even if its a stock car imho , major difference with the front brakes already but for this power i know ill need the rear too , that will be mostly towards the end though. im going to strip the engine again beginning of january and change a few things to new OEM, give it a good clean , fit the parts that i mentioned , also the cooling system and maybe the clutch then put it back together and ill see how that goes after SRR if im not happy with the results then i definately gotta go down that route jimmer ( manifolds,portwork and lightned flywheel) . the 300zx really does surprise me with a few simple things , i imagine the kind of power it will have just with those things, cant wait to get started ! :D

i've already got 8 pot ksport brakes at the front and im going to buy for the rear aswell but first i want to buy those things off my list. concerning the clutch yeah it did but tbh i think i would need to uprate that aswell just saw this one -> RPS Twinturbo MAX Street Clutch and think i might go for that too, thanks mikey and znut yup i will but i was just wondering if the main parts were okay for a good safe 500 bhp at the fly mate. thanks alot for the quick replies guys :cool3:

I want 500bhp at the fly as i think thats a good enough target for me ( atm ) , im going to order a few bits from z1 in january and i was hoping if this will get me to my target. Engine spec now : Blitz induction kit Baileys dumpvalves custom forged pistons custom forged rods Apexi Avcr custom exhaust zedworld chipped ECU racing clutch capable of 450 bhp+ What i will buy from z1 : GT600R Turbo Kit Nismo 555 injectors Sidemount intercoolers Z1 5 bolt downpipes coilcovers the thing is im not sure if i also need the camshafts for that figure, any help would be appreciated. cheers jo

It's funny how you're remembering all of this what 6 months later? all because you just had a problem , this makes no sense whatsoever , i do not remember the flywheel issue, you came to london with your friend you saw everything that was included in the sale or didnt you? i even gave you the radiator for free because i had another one which unfortunately was broken and i didnt even realize that and i had to go buy one the following week of a member from london. im not even going through this , the deal was a bargain you saw it when you came to pick it up,not my fault you go to track days and then things get broken and you tried to blame the seller from months back , ridiculous. never had any problems whatsoever in this club.

Im sorry but seems to me you are trying to have a go at me for something unfair.I did not like what you wrote ''when i converted from NA to TT there was no clutch or flywheel included in the sale of 'all parts required for conversion'' you knew perfectly what came with the deal and didnt before you came from manchester to london, you knew there was no clutch i told you twice before you came, hence why yu started threads asking if the NA clutch would work in a TT engine and as far as i remember you were perfectly happy with the price i gave you and the engine was superb. Not here to argue,i absolutely love this club and im not much of a talker but i found that a bit rude coming from you, months after the deal was done.
