luckily I have a whole spare car so ill check the bits one by one. Sure i could smell i tinge of burning which was a bit of a worry.

I think my PTU has gone funny or is going funny as reading through the searches its seems to be pointing here. Here are the symtoms, some my relate to other problems though. + Engine dies sometimes when I de-clutch. + When cold has major flat spots like its drowning on its own fuel. + Sometime seems to cut back like its hit the rev limiter, but its only at 5000 rpm. This happens when cold only. + When warm, idle is lumpy and erratic. + Went onto 5 cylinders mid journey on way home. + Still on 5 cylinders after restarting 20 mins later. + Didnt notice any smoke out the back and temp seemed fine. Well have a look over the engine in the daylight tomorrow.

that blue one was in j-tuner magazine and i love the rear arches and defuser on it, dont know where they can be purchased from

In the dry you can nail a std zed from start and it will grip and go, but remember you must make sure your auto box has adequate cooling or you have lots of money for a new auto box. Basic mods are exhaust and filter to start. then possibly 1.2mm bost jets. then an uprated ECU and 1.0mm boost jets. I ran mine at 1.2bar with 1.2mm jets, but that was because I ran the 2 sperate pipes and connected them to be one, with 1 boost jet (like you wuld do to fit a boost controller).

been so long since i drove a std zed that i cant remember how fast stock is supposed to be, but im sure it should not struggle against a clio williams, especialy as if i remember right i smoked civic type r's all day when mine was std and and auto.

are you running the right bost? Zeds only run 5psi when in safty boost. i.e when cold and when it detects det.

Nah not a nova, she had a Turbo Diesel xantia which she loved, she asked my to buy her another one which i did, i kept the turbo and xantia bit but forgot the diesel bit lol

well she driving my car as im driving hers and my work car is not back from the garage. she dont like driving it either as it runs like crap, so i guess it was deserved.
