  1. Well I quite like 'em - a lot of hard work there Fas, well done. It's also nice to see something that bit different
  2. Well done mate - glad you've sorted it :)
  3. Thanks for the comments so far guys SouthWestZX - what make are those gauges and are they easy to read in bright sunlight??
  4. Right then - I've decided to fit some addtional gauges to my NA and have decided upon Oil temp, Oil pressure and Water Temp. I will be looking at locating them in the spare DIN slot beneath the head unit. My question is: what are the advantages/disadvantages of both capillary and electrical gauges???? I'm erring towards electrical ones at the mo as I perceive these to be easier to fit. All comments, critcisms, observations, personal recommendations and experience welcomed................................

  14. Make sure you go and test drive as many as you can to get a "feel" for what they're like. Try and a get along to a local meet. check out the Events and Meetings section. Also have you decided on the type you want eg auto or manual, SWB or LWB, TT or N/A?? As with any car as long as it's been well serviced with regular oil changes things should be OK. Of course you do have to remember that the majority of them are now 15 yrs+ so bear that in mind. Take your time and hopefully you'll end up with a good car in the spec/colour/style that you want. Oh, hello and welcome
  15. Mine has 175K kilometers on it and runs sweet as the proverbial. In my ownership (2 years) it has never been booted from cold, has had regular oil changes with quality oil and OEM filters. Always starts first time, even after 2 weeks of not being used. Oh, and it's an NA
