  2. Had a rather nice organic carrot, ginger and parsnip soup for lunch today. The missus makes some lovely homemade soups - best to date is pea and ham :D esp. with fresh bread just out of the bread maker with lightly salted butter.

  4. Bought it 3 1/2 years ago for less than £3500 :D At that point it was standard apart from a de-catted SS exhaust and a Sony Stereo. It's not standard now.............. :D

As a comparison for my SWB, Non-turbo, manual the running costs have been roughly as follows: Tyres - 1 set in 3 years and still loadsa tread left (approx 3000 miles per year) Brake pads - still on the ones that came with the car 3 1/2 years ago Oil changes - 2 per year approx £100 MOT - has sailed through the last 2 with no problems Repairs - less than £200 per year on average over the last 3 1/2 years Insurance - A classic car policy with 300 miles costs me £290 fully comp Fuel - average of 20-22 mpg I have done a few basic performance mods and now get a proven 243 bhp and have also refitted the interior as well. Cheerz and welcome ............... :D
  6. My SWB manual produced 243BHP at a RR day. Mods are: decat, aftermarket exhaust, Apexi filter, AndyP chip and a lightened flyheel.

  18. Hi there I use a mechanic who is a fellow Zed owner and is based in Knareboro, North Yorks. Always does a great job looking after my car. You could give him a call on 01423 862215, he's called Kev - HTH I've also had work done here, they're authorised Nissan dealers and have done my cambelt and look after 1 or 2 other Zeds as well.
