I've come to my senses
I've got a J reg, manual, NA and in 1 1/2 years, other than routine servicing and mods of my own choosing, all I've had to do is change the battery (£60-00), the radiator (less than £100 fitted) and as a precautionary measure change the starter motor (around £60-00 fitted). Careful use of this site's resources kept these costs down to what they were. The car is my daily driver, kept on my driveway and is used in all weathers.Insurance is just over £300 fully comp on Classic Insurance and I get 23 mpg. Great car, great site and great people on here.
