hpi told me checks overseas wern't worth it...i.e. if its wrong you have to go to the originator (japan) and sue them...just one of the delights in importing your own motor i guess..

if memory serves the Kitt car was made by (Fred?) Barras...he made the Dukes of Hazard and Batman...munsters too by all accounts.... he keeps the originals..he is a bit of a meglomaniac from the interviews i've seen and read

mines a stock auto...i agree with Pete when flooring @ 50mph its sommit else to behold..throws you back in the seat...it makes my misses go for her brake pedal....:)

i always ask to see the broken/worn parts this makes sure they've fitted them...usually tell them i work for trading standards or a contract busting law firm who sues companies for faulty service procedures as part of the casual conversation when booking the car in...:)

trouble is when driving behind...say you cause her to fall off where-by she may need mouth to mouth or chest/heart massage...could be nasty...best to play it safe and offer a lift in-case some other moron causes an accident

eb110....what a car...saw one on the A23 in fog....i knew what it was befor i got close owing to the central single fog lamp ala formula 1 cars...there was a couple for sale in famous marques for £170k each...!! still seeing as they dont make the turbos anymore (they got 4 i think) you could be in for an expensive time...still i think the bug verion is the nuts too...i notice the new bentley coup is similar in styling...saw a few of those last month

i was in a mates car when he spotted a pheasent in the middle of the road so he lined it up to hit it...and he sure did...unfortunately he had a low front spoiler and at 80mph the birds head smashed a hole right through it...expensive bit of fun that was

you raise an interesting point...i've driven over 600,000 miles and only killed one rabbit one bird and 10 million insects...a couple of my friends have slaughtered loads of critters...one guy i knew had a fully grown stag jump over a hedge onto his bonnet...wrote the car off and the stags hoof and bottom part of its leg was left sticking out of the bonnet like some kind of jaguar leaper...:) does anyone have a bad exp with hitting animals?...

i used to be mistaken for 2 different people.... 1. David Seaman....when i had floppy hair 2. Chris Wright...the record/tv company boss..ex owner of football and rugby teams...but this was only because i share the same name and worked in the music bizz...did cause some funny moments when people expected the former to turn up

for my own part i have no grudge against them...they seem to have been pioneers in world exploration like us....but didnt seem to wage so many wars unlike us...however i'm sure a few folks in south america would have wished them and the spainish hadn't bothered making the trip

the coolant system has 10 litres in it so to lose a cupful will hardly show up...as to the exact location of the pipe...there are some pics posted on here but i'll be dammed if i can find 'em....anyone know where they are?
